Default J56 brakes on C7 Grand Sport

Hello, my 2019 C7 Grand Sport came with J56 brakes based on the car's VIN. Also, I don't think I have the Z51 package. Can I install J55 brakes on my car? I believe J56 are the larger, heavy duty rotors compared to the J55 but looking to replace all pads and rotors (front and rear). Any advice or additional thoughts on this would be appreciated. As of now, I am leaning toward powerstop brakes as long as I can confirm they are a good fit for my car. I am looking on rockauto and summit racing for these parts and can't figure out if they would be compatible with J56.

the GS is a Z06 without the engine. you have the J56 brakes, dry sump, z06 magride, etc.

J55 is a downgrade plus you'd have to replace the calipers. Stick with J56.

Good advice - I would want the better brakes that came standard on the GS.

the Z06 brakes as part of the z52 track performance package , are they likely larger rotors and calipers vs the standard base GS rotors and pads ?
