Long time autox/track/time trial driver. 2017 C7 GS w/ Magnuson 2650, ZR1 Aero, stock suspension w/ 32 mm front bar/, A052 Yokohama
Tried the DSC controller, car was better on the street: softer ride/floatier feel. On track: in track mode car was better over bumps/curbs but didn't feel as tight and car moved around more. I made some adjustments to stiffen it up, felt a little better but not as good as OEM controller/w. mag ride upgrade, especially in slower corners and transitions. Then a got a "service suspension system" on the dash. I called DSC, Tom said send it back and he will check the controller (it is out of warranty). Shipped it to them , they received it, than I called, they were moving the business and lost the controller. They said they will find it get back to me, they never did.
Bottom line, car fees more planted/tighter on track, and lap times are quicker w/ OEM controller. Car is not a DD, I drive to the track but don't need the softer DSC ride. Customer service was uninspiring.
I have a 2017 GS and bought the DSC in 2017. It's been pretty much trouble free, the only issue I have is that I can't connect to it with a new generation laptop, I have to use and old retired one just for that purpose which is odd. Anyhow something must have changed over the years because later on it just seemed like people were constantly having trouble and complaining about them so your issue is not surprising. Personally I don't like the floatier feel on the street but on my bumpy local track I felt it put the power down better. I still have the OEM controller and I completely forgot about the mag ride upgrade, kind of makes me want to swap the OEM back in just for curiosity. If I remember you had to take the car to the dealer and pay a couple hundred bucks for the mag ride upgrade?

Hi Pete,
I’m glad to hear DSC worked well for you, and yes, I did pay $350 for the mag ride upgrade. My car w/ added weight of the S/C works better with the OEM controller.
I ran the OEM Controller for 2 years, I now switched back to the DSC Controller, car feels better, lap times are quicker, car feels more compliant and handles bumps better. I also figured out how to make changes to the software. YMMV.

So on track do you feel that the DSC Controller is worth it? They just came out with the C8 version and I'm thinking of using it if it helps on the track?

Yes, it feels better on track, a little more compliant and much better over bumps/curbs, this is on a C7 Grand Sport. No idea what it will do on a C8
