Watching this and I am curious what a broadcast tag is and whether this is that?

Thats a tag that radiator repair shops would solder on after doing a repair.

The number on the tag corresponded with the invoice number for warranty work, or to deny "warranty work" when the customer brought the leaky radiator out of his other car saying "you guys just fixed this last month"....

The broadcast tag is a steel tag with a 2 digit alpha code and part number that identified the specific radiator. The tag was installed at the Harrison factory in Lockport NY before shipping to the various GM assembly plants.

FYI
here is an example of a General Motors Radiator Tag stamped with letter and number codes for the tanks and application radiator was originally installed in
the pictured one was from an SS454 Chevelle El Camino. I do not have a corvette tag to show you.. sorry
