I've driven my C8 in 95* to 98* and have never needed one. C8s have kick-*** ACs in them. At least both mine have. I've never taken my transparent top off. I like it that much. Of course assuming you are in LV, it can get warmer than 98*.
I'm interested in how they attach and look.

I'm getting ready to swap back over to my body color top for the summer. It's getting a little warm about this time and I'm up in middle GA...
If I didn't have both tops, I'd be buying that shade I posted up in the #2 post!

I’m in Florida and not bald. Not hot in the Z but heat and glare on the head can get to me a bit much.
I ordered one from Amazon. Similar in design and American Made

I think the two listed above are the same, just different vendors. With that said I have one for my car and they are well made and fit perfectly. The material blends in very well and most would think factory issued. I had a similar one on a C5 top and was sold on them way back then. They are held on with a series of lager suction cups and I have not had any issue with then coming off the two months I've had it on. The size is perfect for storing in the rear trunk net as well.

Please let us know how it works. I am getting ready to put the painted top back on for the hot months.

I've never found that the transparent top makes driving in the car in hot weather unbearable, but I guess in some parts of the country that may not be the case.

I am leaning towards tinting my current transparent top. But this product that another member suggested is also a contender:

That's strange since most interiors are black, and black pretty much goes with any interior color. Seems that would be the last color they would discontinue.
