Kudos, again, to Discount Tire!!!
Got in my car, after being gone for the weekend, to 20 PSI in the LR tire. Went to Discount Tire, where they found the nail and fixed my tire (for free) and took extra care not to damage the wheel.
They have always impressed me with their customer service and attention to detail and it is one of the many reasons they are the only place that does my tire/wheel work.

I have always been satisfied with American Tire. I have had three sets of wheels installed perfectly until recently when they damaged the lip on my new special order Carbon Flash Vertini wheels. I didn’t notice until I was washing the lube off when I got home. Went back and they used my wheel invoice to order a replacement even though they don’t have Vertini listed as something they sell. Had a new wheel within a week.

I personally love discount tire. Belle tire has entered the area, which is also supposed to be good, but unless discount tire slips, they are my go to place. I probably get a set of tires for one of my cars biannually.

Does Discount Tire have the Hunter Touchless machine? That is the single question I ask when I talk to any tire store. With a Hunter Touchless you will generally never get any scratches on your wheels.

He had just had discount tire move some track tires over to some other wheels he brought and when he got on the track the balancing weights fly off the wheel.
Looks like they used bad double stick foam tape, and it also looks like they didn't prep/clean the surface at all where they applied them.
He's not happy. Lost half a track day.

They have done well for me, however I was just at the track yesterday with my brother and his Lotus Elise.
He had just had discount tire move some track tires over to some other wheels he brought and when he got on the track the balancing weights fly off the wheel.
Looks like they used bad double stick foam tape, and it also looks like they didn't prep/clean the surface at all where they applied them.
He's not happy. Lost half a track day.

I was worried about the fact that my wheel drums are ceramic coated, which I disclosed up front, but they indexed my tire and checked the balance (with me standing there) and it was good to go. It did make me realize that, when I need tires, I will bring them a can or two of brake clean and have that area cleaned and then just re-ceramic when I get it back home.
Since they are a tire, wheel, and now alignment place, they do not have a vast array of chemicals like a regular shop.

Wow that’s amazing to have all positive comments. What a testament to a great company. I honestly can’t recall the last time I have heard a 100% endorsement for a company. I will look in to buying my next set of tires there for sure. Sam

Been a customer from 2010 when we were on vacation, and I needed some tire help in San Angelo, TX. Great staff, great service, and great tires.
I've since used 3 locations in Michigan whenever we travel in the USA, and DT has never disappointed. Great staff, great service, and great tires.
Wish they'd expand into Canada, but I understand why they wouldn't.

Store locations are being equipped with the Hunter Maverick tire changer which equates to what is called touchless. A simple call to the store you are going to visit will allow you to verify they have one.
