Default Wheels and Stance

I have a 62 and really like the stance on this one. If anybody recognizes it I hope you can tell me the wheel specifics (diameter, rim width, backspace, offset). I know they are Foose wheels. My 62 has been restomoded with c4 suspension. Any knowledge or advice is appreciated.

Check the C4 forum section on lowering info. Wheels will depend on the rear spacing or if the wheels wells have been widened.

I did a "google" search of C1 Corvette with C4 suspension and came up with this.
https://www.corvsport.com/corvette-o...m-convertible/

Corvette Of The Day: 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Custom Convertible

It boasts a Street Shop custom chassis while the QA1 adjustable coilover front and rear suspension, custom Foose 18 and 20-inch wheels, and Michelin Pilot Sport tires provide a smooth ride.

I appreciate the responses. That’s how I found the car. I know the wheels are Foose 18” & 20” but I need the backspace and/or the offset to get the right wheels so I have the clearance for them.

you might discover that the car has been built around the wheels, so you may end up having to do a lot of work to get the same wheels to fit your car the same way.

Building cars like this isn't simply a matter of bolting on the parts you want, there's a lot more to it.

Do you know who's frame you have? Is the C4 suspension on a modified stock frame? If you have a Street Shop frame you can call them and they can tell you the wheel specs. I have spoken to them in the past at car shows and they know what fits inside a stock wheel well using their frame. If you don't know you need to measure and figure out what you need. It's not as hard as you may think, You can also use a tool that allows you to figure out the width and backspace as well as mount a tire.
Something like this.

WheelWise Wheel Fitment Tool Tire Fit Testing. Should cost about $100.

I may not be able to offer much help being that yours is on a C4 frame.

This is on the original frame, but with a 4 link rear put in place of the original leaf springs. Additionally, the front is lowered the old fashioned (outdated) way. Cutting a coil is probably shunned upon, but it's worked for over 30 years now.

I thank all of you for your input. The frame was hand built using the best restomod frames as a template. I currently have wheels from a 2015 Camaro on it. They fit but not completely with the stance I’m trying to achieve. I have adjustable Aldan coil overs so I can put the ride height where I want it to be. I measured the backspace of my current wheels to be 6” and calculated the offset
as +25.4 mm. I know the “front space” is 3”. The rims are 8” wide. If I could find a 6.5” rim with a 44 mm offset then I believe that would work for the front. I can also go to a narrower tire. The back could be a little wider wheel but the “front space” cannot exceed 3”. I may have to get wheels custom made.
