Quick question...does the same door water reflector fit both the driver and passenger side? Or are they different for either side? All I can find is one for the driver side and not the passenger side. I had to replace the window regulator and the old water reflector crumbled away
Passenger side is much harder to find. I was fortunate enough to find one last year because mine too had disintegrated into chips
I just checked for gm 10263412 but nothing listed from my original supplier now. Try checking the PN in a general internet search and you might get lucky

I had to install new window regulators on both my doors earlier and both of my original water deflectors basically crumbled in my hands when I removed them. I also tried to order a new set and could only find the driver side as the passenger side is no longer available. I assume the same will hold true for the driver's side once the existing stock is gone.
Good news is that you can use basically any good automotive water proof insulation and sound deadening material and tape to fill in the hole. This is a fiberglass panel that was then covered with ensolite, however I had to remove the OEM foam from the door panels for them to fit.
This is interesting. I haven't had my panels off recently but last time I did I don't recall having to take those covers off or moving them out of the way. 🤔 I'm going to get me a set just in case now. My brain has been in a fog for a while so memory isn't there about them.

The only time you really need to remove them is if you need to pull out a dead window regulator.
I had to take them off when I was in Tennessee. Drivers door had a couple panel pin retainer holes wallered out so I had to figure out a way for the retainers to stay put. I still need to repair them the right way and more permanent. They're only held in place with a rubber O-ring on the back side since then but they've held up well so far.

Having the same issue with the passenger side door. The factory seal crumbled in my hands when replacing the window regulator. Where did you purchase the fiberglass panel? I assume it's cut to shape at home but still. I think it's either this or something like dynamat for my fix.

I got mine off Amazon and used some cardboard to create the template. I then self tapped the four screws into the door. I then sealed it with aluminum hvac tape and then finished it with some dynamat.
I know this is a long shot since the thread is over a year old but does anyone know what type of adhesive is used to attach the reflector to the door panel? I'm not sure what can stay as tacky for the past 25 years as this
Just found this thread as it's time to fix my passenger side window regulator. Has anyone tried getting sound deadening material and cutting it into the right shape? Something like https://a.co/d/0hisNbjI
