Brand New C7 Driver’s Side Air Bag
Up for sale is a brand new, never installed driver’s side air bag. This part will fit 2014-2016 Corvettes. When I was having my original air bag customized by APSIS, I purchased this one from my local dealer just in case I wanted to drive the car while work was being done. As stated, it has never been installed on the car. I paid a bit over $700 for the new one and will sell for $400. Price has been reduced in hopes of selling the airbag.
Please note that at this time I will not ship the airbag - too many regulations have to be complied with to ship it through either the mail or some other carrier like UPS/FedEx/etc.
The air bag is located in the mid-Missouri area and I would be willing to drive within a couple hours distance to facilitate the sale.

@ZO6 cracker Let me do some further investigation into shipping as I am getting conflicting info from USPS on the requirements. I’ll let you know when I learn more.

@ZO6 cracker I have done some checking with USPS and UPS and both declined to ship. However, FedEx was receptive to shipping provided the airbag was packaged following HazMat regulations. They referred me to a company that specializes in HazMat shipping and I plan to call them and ask questions, including cost to pack/ship.
If you PM me your city, state and zip code, I can find out what it would cost to ship. Then we could talk cost.

The member interested in the airbag has decided to go another direction so bumping this up to the top for more exposure. If interested let me know and I can check on shipping since I have found a company that deals with shipping HazMat materials.
