Default Set It and Forget It: Lock-In Jacking Pads for Your C8 Corvette

C8 Corvette Lock In Leave In Place Jacking Pucks (pads)

Available Here: https://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=3167

If you've ever hesitated to jack up your C8 for fear of damaging the rocker panels, you're not alone—and you're exactly who we had in mind when we brought in these Lock-In Jack Pads.

At RPI Designs, we've seen too many C8s suffer from cracked rocker trim or worse just from routine maintenance. That’s why we recommend these Lock-In, Leave-In-Place Jacking Pucks. Once installed, they stay in the frame—no rattling, no falling out, and no extra steps when it's time to lift the car.

Here’s what sets them apart:
  • Secure, Lock-In Design – Presses into the frame and stays put
  • No More Loose Metal Pucks – Won’t fall out and become a road hazard
  • Durable Hard Plastic – Tough enough for shop use, light enough not to damage
  • Set of 4 Included – One for each jack point
  • Maintenance-Ready – Makes lifting your C8 faster, easier, and safer
Whether you’re rotating tires, changing oil, or installing mods, these jack pads take the stress out of lifting your car. You’ll never have to double-check your pucks again—they’re always in place, ready when you are.

You could buy cheaper pads, but you won’t find a better set.

I watched the video, is there no tools required?
It looks like it simply gets pushed into place without rotating them or am I missing something?
If this is the case, they look like a pretty easy installation.

Yea, just snap in. You wouldnt want it any other way unless there was like a rotating center piece that expanded legs, or else it'd be a semi-permanent pain.

In my experience these last a pretty long time as-is because most of us arent putting these on lifts all that often. I keep some metal pucks around just in case, but these are super ultra wildly convenient. My only question is if it doesnt fit a wider range of models, because I'm using my c5 pucks on my c8!

Since there are multiply pads, perhaps your add should read, "Set and Forget"?

Sorry but these didn't work on my 2026 C8. Pushed them in and they were loose. The ears that hold them in place don't expand enough to keep them flush with the frame. I'll be looking to return them soon.

Yep. Sorry to say it was the same for me on my 2024. And they were not necessarily that easy to push in.

Good to know it wasn't just me. I used these on my C6 and they worked fine. I did buy and install the metal pucks with the 2 socket head screws because I use a quickjack for DIY maintenance.

Before any unsuspecting C8 owners try to buy these they don't work. To return I would have to pay shipping + a 20% restocking fee. To get a refund that won't happen, I'll give them away or throw them in the garbage.

I tried installing these, one broke, and then I was told I'd have to pay to return them. Would not recommend.

I wonder if these are a cheaper "knock off" product? I bought mine at a bmw dealership in 2001. Been used on my c5, c6, c7 and now c8. They have been and are still very durable even after being changed from vehicle to vehicle.
