We just posted a new video featuring Luis, our Co-Founder and President.
In it, he explains airflow and shaft design, how air moves through our throttle body, and how design choices impact airflow.

On an eray with say a drop in filter , is the 95mm bolt on too or should you have more mods? Trying to understand the difference between the 91 and 95 on a mostly stock vehicle.

Thank you for the question. For your E-Ray or any vehicle that is stock to lightly modded, the 91mm is the recommended option. The 95mm is not a direct bolt-on unless the manifold has been ported to at least 93mm. Without that porting you would need an adapter so the blade can clear the manifold. We typically suggest the 95mm for builds that are more heavily modified, and the 103mm is usually reserved for setups with forced induction or vehicles aiming for eight hundred plus horsepower. Without the supporting modifications you would not be able to take full advantage of the larger throttle bodies. If you have any other questions, I am happy to help.

Hey everyone!
A common question we get is whether you can connect multiple Soler Performance throttle controllers to one phone or if you need separate apps. You can connect as many controllers as you want to the same app, Soler PRF, on one phone. You can also have them connected to a spouse’s phone at the same time.

As you pair each controller, you can rename it so you know which vehicle it belongs to. The app will only connect to the vehicle you are inside of with the ignition on, so there’s no interference between cars.

This means you can run a controller in your weekend car, your pickup truck, your daily driver, your wife’s car, anything you own, and manage them all easily through one app. I hope this helps anyone who didn’t know and might have been holding off on adding controllers to their whole fleet.

Question for y'all. How does this affect stealth-mode? I know that I normally have to accelerate fairly slow, in order not to trip the throttle position to fire up the engine.

The throttle controller does not change or override any of the factory drive modes, including Stealth Mode. It has no control over when the engine starts or how the exhaust behaves.

Think of it more as a multiplier or additive to whatever mode you’re already in. It simply adjusts throttle sensitivity based on pedal input.

If you find you need to be extra gentle on the pedal in Stealth Mode, you can set the throttle controller to Valet or Economy to reduce throttle sensitivity. That can actually make it easier to drive smoothly compared to having it set in a more aggressive mode like Sport 5.

Hope that helps clarify things.

With Christmas right around the corner, this is a great time to grab a throttle body or throttle controller if it’s been on your upgrade list. Easy install and a noticeable difference right away.
If anyone has questions about fitment or compatibility, I’m happy to help. Wishing everyone a great holiday week!

Mike has been great to work with. I had the 91 and controller on my Z51 C8 and they worked seamlessly together.
I'm on the hunt for an Eray, and these will be the first mods.

Hey everyone,

A recent 5 star review that was left on our website for the Soler Performance Throttle Controller:
"You know how you watch YouTube videos and you hear someone hawking a sponsors product and you think, “yeah right, like you don’t have an interest here”. Many occasions I have been fooled by these YouTube so called influencers. Much to my surprise however not only did Soler Performance provide me with an excellent product but they answered all my questions on the phone and through email with professionalism and courtesy. I am as impressed and that is hard to do. As for the throttle body controller itself, if does as advertised and a whole lot more. It truly works. There are several how to install videos on YouTube which are fine but lack key information. However Soler reps helped me through the issues. Not something you see everyday. I will now save up for the 91mm portal throttle body itself which I now believe will even make more of an impact. Be good to the customer and they will be good to you. Soler gets that."

If anyone has experience they would like to share with a Soler Performance product, please feel free to leave your review here:

As always, we love hearing back from everyone. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.

I understand they are two separate parts but both are trying to generate the same outcome with different approaches.. I would assume if you install the TB then the throttle control sensitivity will just be set at a much lower level??

You do not need the throttle controller if you purchase the throttle body. They can absolutely be run independently.

That said, we do recommend pairing them together because they address two different things.

The throttle body improves real airflow by changing the internal geometry. This gives you smoother and more consistent power delivery, reduced lag, and better overall drivability across the entire RPM range. The throttle controller works electronically. It adjusts how quickly the throttle blade responds to your pedal input. It sharpens response and removes the soft or delayed feel, but it does not add airflow or horsepower on its own. It is still limited by the physical throttle body on the car.

When used together, the throttle body fixes the physical airflow limitation and the controller fine tunes how that airflow is delivered. The result is better response, smoother power, and a much more connected driving feel.

Plenty of customers run one or the other, but the TB and TC combo is where you get the most noticeable improvement.
