This is an adult-owned, very clean 2002 Chevrolet C5 Corvette Z06 only has 52,700 miles and hasn’t been modified, abused, or raced. It has seen some responsible performance driving experience use with its current owner. The weak stock valve springs were replaced with Comp Cams 26906-16 Beehive LS6+. A series of oil analyses show a healthy engine. All drivetrain fluids were replaced with ACDelco or equivalent and it is running the proper Dexcool antifreeze. The ABS/traction control unit was repaired and resealed. The problematic steering wheel lockout was disabled, and the despised 1-to-4 skip-shift feature has been bypassed. Continental Extreme Contact Sport performance all-season tires with a 2019 date code have lots of tread left.
Clean CarFax report shows no accidents or other issues and vehicle history shows Texas and Washington registration. Report available upon request.
Known past and present issues:
Previous owner had a minor accident on passenger front fender. Repaired prior to change of ownership. Barely visible.
Windshield has some pitting and chips. No cracks. Chips have been filled with RainX epoxy.
Occasional issue with fuel level sender. Causes a CHECK GAUGES light to come on and the fuel gauge to go to empty. Only happens occasionally and resolves itself quickly. Replacement sender included with car (but not installed).
A PCV catch can from Elite was installed to prevent oil vapor fouling sensors. An additional power steering cooler was added to improve weak stock cooling capacity.
