Anyone else having difficulty adding a service record to their MyChevrolet account/portal? I have just completed the first oil and filter change on my C8 and no matter how many times I've added it, it simply won't save.. When I go back into the portal it's not there. I've opened a case with Chevrolet (OnStar) but their recommendations for fixing it didn't work.. Their suggestion was to clear cache on my browser (Chrome) and remove the extra 4 digits on my Zip Code in my account details. Then clear cache again before entering the Service Record again.
Well, I did all that and still - nothing...
Just looking to see if anyone else has experienced this issue and if so, how did you get around it?
I don't want Chevrolet to give me hard time with out of warranty bs should an issue arise..
MyChevrolet.com (login)
Go to upper-right where you see your login details (click Account)
From there you should see your vehicle(s) and Connected (click on the picture of your vehicle or VIN)
From there you'll see an icon call Service History with a wrench/screwdriver as the icon (click that)
The next screen gives you an opportunity to view/review all entered services performed on the car. Mine do not show..
Below the text saying "Don't see all of your service history records?", you'll see another icon called "Add a Service Record" - this is where I clicked and added all the details about the oil change I performed. I included ALL the required data and added a full description about exactly what I did to perform it 100% correctly in the Notes section at the bottom and hit "Save"..
Although the record appears to save, (no reported error at the application level or at the browser), when you go back in later, no entered data appears.
I had a problem where all my self-entered records disappeared. They managed to resurrect them but it took a lot of time getting them to acknowledge there was a problem.

Thanks for the help!
Hopefully, this isn't a dumb question but do you see a save button at the bottom? I ask because it's happened to me where I didn't see it on another platform.

My records used to be there as entered by my servicing dealer. Then almost 2 years ago, GM did some kind of "update" and they disappeared. I opened a ticket at least 6 times and had it escalated to the third level at least three of those times. I would get a call telling me it was fixed, but it never was. I told them the last two times that I had absolutely no faith that they could ever get it fixed because they can't.
Multiple times I was given the same advice about cache clearing, zip code numbers, etc, etc. After about 8 months of trying I gave up.

MyChevy app is a work in progress. Not impressed with lack of reliable status updating. On going problem since I've had it and all I get is: "We're sorry. Your case will be escalated to our tech team". Insert roll eyes here.
Ok folks - I decided to try again and well, what do you know - it actually WORKED this time.. I did NOTHING different from the last time back in October of 2025, but today it decided to save.. Not only that - I went back in and well.. it was STILL there! :-D
I actually made a small update to that entry and that saved as well. Posting this here for anyone that tried and gave up.. Go back and try again, I think GM finally realized they coded something wrong and fixed it. Too many people were having the same issue for it to be anything other than a back end problem.
