I purchased the Level 4 LED kit from Custom LED Service and am looking to add some more to it to make it even better. I have a Stingray that I am in the process of putting a Z06 bumper on and am trying to figure out where some more strips would look nice. Anyone have any ideas?
I'd like to not have the LEDs themselves visible through the bumper because it just looks better that way. Pictured is my car with the stock bumper and some pictures of mockup and it still apart. Unfortunately, with the Z06 bumper being so open, I don't think I can completely hide the strips because being at a sharp downward angle, you can see them looking down… see pictures to see what I mean. Still, it looks good from the front dead-on. The problem with adding them at the top is that my new splitter is painted carbon flash and they will just reflect off of that and look pretty bad… man, I'm not sure how to approach this.

You could try mounting the LED strips just inside the bumper openings or under the edges so the light shines out but the strips stay hidden. Using angled brackets or channels to direct the light downward can help avoid reflections off the splitter while keeping the LEDs out of direct view. Mocking up the placement temporarily before final installation is a good way to see what looks best.
Nice, but remember that any Red or Blue lights are un-lawful while underway in most States.
I agree with you, but it seems like they are not enforcing those laws either. This is IMHO out of control. People are doing this on their boats too. Port and starboard navigation lights are essential for safe navigation, but people are putting red, green, and blue leds all over the place. You can't tell if a boat is coming or going.
