Pardon me if this has been discussed before but as a new ERAY owner with summer tires.....what was your real world milage before you replaced the tires?

Really depends on your use. I have a 2nd set of wheels with PS4S tires, and A/S on my stock wheels. My A/S tires look brand new, but only have about 1K miles on them. My PS4S with ~4K miles are at the wear bars, but that includes 2 full track days, about 6 autox events and spring-fall street use.

I almost fell out of my chair at 4k, but then I got to 2 full track days and 6 autocross events. That's not too bad. Surely we can get to 12-15k for the PS4S tires in all street (with some spirited mountain) driving.... I too would love to see more real world numbers vs my guesses....

It may not help a lot, but by comparison my 24 Z06 had 8500 miles on it when I traded it, with 2 track days, about 6 autox events and several trips with serious twisty road driving and the PS4S tires were still in decent shape (maybe half worn). The extra weight of the E-Ray really doesn't help with wear on track.

That is helpful, thanks Evan....I'm thinking I'll switch to the AS tires once my OEM ZER pkg tires are shot. But only at 3k now so a ways to go I hope.
about 3 track days. if you are going to the track you shouldn't be worried about tire wear. if you are fast you are going to tear em off. Just street driving, expect 30k miles.

The “safe” answer. 15-20k mi.
Everybody will give you a different answer. I have seen Corvette owners with 30k on their tires and let me tell you I’d never run worn tires like that. I remember 20+ years ago on my C5Z replacing my tires at 10-11k mi.
I have 19,300 miles and my back tire are showing cords in the middle of the tread. New tires on order install later this week. My front tires have a lot of life left before getting to the wear tabs maybe 50% to the wear tabs. I have never taken my car to the track but I do like to feel the G's while corning. I also have at least 2/3 of those miles on the highway. I did have a time finding someone who could mount my new tire, I have the factory Carbon Fiber rims. Both dealers in my area will not put tires on my car. Discount Tire says they can do it.
Probably should have gotten new tires 5000 miles ago
For mine the center wear was greater than the sides. the sides are just past the wear indicators, but the center is smooth and worse on the driver side. May be an inflation issue although I always monitor my tire pressure and keep my cold pressure at 30 psi in the rear.
Are you all seeing even wearing or premature wearing in the inner wall?
these are my 2 rear tire after 19,300 miles, the insides havsome cupping but lasted longer than the middle. These pics are from after remodel so no air in them
Makes you wonder if the cold tire pressure should be lowered. I used to run my C7 Z51 at 28psi (summer tires). Is everyone running 23 front and 30 rear?
Semper Fi Gunny…just curious on what type of air pressure gauge you’re using…been running mine at 32 front and 30 rear cold, have a bit over ten thousand miles and my wear is nothing like yours…also had the alignment checked on my dime at first early oil change to keep the wear in check as we all know tires are not cheap…tech said alignment was within tolerances but he brought them in perfectly. Oohh-Rahh!

I do plan on having the alignment checked appears to have more Camber than needed in the rear. I have 3 measures of air pressure, TPSM which I always monitor, a digital handheld and a digital chuck on my air compressor. They all measure within .5 PSI so I feel good about the measurement.
