I got my first Corvette ride at 5 years old. (1962) My uncle had a 59 Corvette. I was bitten immediately. Got my first Corvette in high school. (1975) It was a 62. Paid 3 grand for it. I have had Corvettes ever since. Here is a pic of one I built in the late 1980's. Its a 1968 that was wrecked. When I bought it, the previous owner picked up all the broken fiberglass pieces. I completely dis assembled it. It had a bent frame. I had the frame straightened. 454 with a 4 speed. Wish I would have never sold it.

OMG- we got a Prius rental car in Florida last week for Mecum. I was embarrassed. It was hybrid- took us a few minutes to figure it out.

LOL! I took my dad to my nieces wedding (in Ohio) a few years ago. Bless his heart, he was 85 years old and not in great physical health at the time. At the car rental I had a choice bettering a Prius, SUV, or a yellow Camaro SS (for a few buck more). Of course, I chose the SS Camaro and I still feel guilty years later that I made my poor elderly dad ride in that low, hard to get in & out of, rough riding car for 5 days we were there! LOL! Sorry Pops!

PFffffttt. I def would have made the same choice. Dont feel bad. that Prius SUCKED in way more ways than one. It was hard to get in and out of too- door openings were way to small, made for little japanese men and petite women with short pink hair. Its easier to get in my GS. and I swear- there was a woman in a jeep parked next to us at the hotel, I KNOW she was judging by the look on her face . My husband laughed. I cared- LOL.- I asked him at the counter to please get something else.

I always vote for Buses, Trains, etc.. I want less people on the roads. More room for ME. (as a fork off the Hybrids and Gas comment).

True statement. He indulges me for sure. We have 2 Harley’s though, a 4 wheeler and 3 Honda dirt bikes. lol. So he makes up for it in other ways.
