Default Movin on up!!!!

Well, Sold my modified C8, Just got on the MacMulkin list for a ZR1. I waited 7 months back in '23 for my C8 from MacMullkin. I assume it will be a longer wait for a ZR1. what is the average time people are waiting for delivery..

I have been on the MM interest list for at least 2 years i emailed the salesman the other day
and he replied we haven’t placed a zr1 order since November and said GM need to get there $hit together .
So who really knows…maybe it is GM to blame.
I don’t know…but good luck and welcome to the list.

Damn!!! after putting 10k down as a deposit to get on the list.. I assumed it would take a minimum of 6 months.. Guess that was wishful thinking

I was told for a ZR1 order, as a returning customer, a 10k deposit was required to get on the list, and once an allocation is given, an additional 10% of the purchase price is due...

I had read that before and that people were doing $10k deposits. I expected to be asked for the deposit but was not.

But when my number came up for the Z06 i decided against it since zr1 was in the picture.
But who knows how long and if i am able to buy zr1.

I didn’t need to give MM a deposit until the order was placed.
For my Z06 they required one

Here is the information I received from MM 3 weeks ago...

We require a $10,000 deposit to secure your place on our ZR1 deposit list, payable via wire transfer or check from the primary buyer. (Credit cards are not accepted.) An additional deposit equal to 10% of the vehicle’s MSRP will be due once we receive allocation for your order. Please note: both deposits become non-refundable once your order is officially placed with allocation.

Here's what we need to proceed with your deposit:

Legal Title information as listed on registration ( Name(s) and address)

· Please type out your legal name or names if there are multiple buyers. If two buyers, indicate who will be the primary and who will be the secondary buyer. Also type your current address that you will be registering the car to.

Copy of license(s) front and back

· This can either be a scanned document of the front and back of your license or a photo (If multiple buyers please attach both licenses)

Contact information (phone numbers and email addresses

· If multiple buyers we will need both buyers email addresses and phone numbers.

Preferred delivery type:

· (Delivery here or Corvette Museum Delivery)

Please provide us with your build from Chevrolet.com or your 6 digit build code:

· If you do not have your build ready yet. Please just let us know if you are planning to order with the Aero or ZTK package so we at least know what you are looking to order. There is a good chance that orders without Aero or ZTK packages will get placed sooner due to constraints on both of those packages.

Once we receive the required information, we will then be sending a purchase order and terms and conditions to sign electronically via DocuSign. Once signed, we will provide payment instructions. You will not be added to the reservation list without a signed purchase order and terms and conditions.

**REFUND POLICY**:

The deposit is refundable until the order is officially placed with GM (status 2000). Refunds cannot be processed within 30 days of us receiving the deposit. Allow 7-14 business days for processing refunds, which will be issued via USPS regular mail as a business check.

BUILD PROCESS:

A member of our order team will reach out to finalize your order, address any questions, and discuss delivery options as we get closer to an allocation for your vehicle. We're also available for in-person or phone appointments to guide you through the build process.

Utilize the Chevrolet.com build and buy tool for a preliminary build idea. Note that once the order is officially placed with allocation, it's marked sold under your name, and no changes can be made.

Delivery Options:

Option 1: Delivery to MacMulkin Chevrolet

Choosing to have your car shipped to MacMulkin Chevrolet ensures an exceptional experience tailored just for you. Whether you opt for pickup at the dealership or prefer to have the car transported to your doorstep, rest assured that your prized possession will only be handled by the MacMulkin Corvette team. For those considering picking up the car at our dealership, some customers find it convenient to arrange a one-way rental depending on their location, or they may choose to fly into one of our two local airports. Manchester, NH is the preferred choice due to lighter traffic compared to Boston, MA. Should you decide on shipping from the dealership, we typically entrust Intercity Lines for longer distance deliveries. We also have our own enclosed trailer for deliveries across certain parts of the Northeast. Once your car arrives at our dealership, we'll provide a shipping quote, and you'll be responsible for paying the shipping company directly. While you're free to use your preferred shipping company, we strongly advise thorough research to ensure a seamless experience. Upon arrival, your car will receive meticulous attention from our trained Corvette professionals, specializing in preparation and cleaning tailored to your preferences. Additionally, we offer various XPEL packages for long-term paint protection, which can be conveniently paid for separately to take advantage of New Hampshire's tax-free status. Rest assured, your car will be in the best hands.

Option 2: Museum Delivery

Opting for R8C Corvette Museum delivery presents a unique opportunity to take delivery at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. While there's an additional cost beyond the destination charge, it's an unparalleled experience, particularly for Corvette enthusiasts. Not only do you receive a custom name plaque mounted in your car, but you'll also take delivery on the prestigious Corvette Boulevard. For those residing near Kentucky, this option is particularly enticing.

TERMS OF THE SALE:

We are committed to ensuring a seamless and transparent transaction process for all our valued customers. Please review the following terms and conditions carefully:

· Payment and Delivery:

· Sold ordered vehicles must be paid for in full within 7 days of the car arriving at dealer (status 5000)

· Titling and Registration:

· All deals must be titled and registered in the personal name of the initial deposit holder.

· Customers must be residents of the state where the vehicle will be registered, with a matching driver's license. (no temporary licenses, limited term licenses, or identification cards will be accepted)

· State-Specific Requirements:

· We sell to all states in the USA, including OR, AK, MT, and NH, provided customers are residents of the respective state with a matching driver's license.

· Sales Restrictions:

· We do not sell or lease to Automotive Dealers, Dealer Agents, Management Staff, Sales Staff, leasing companies, exporters, businesses, LLCs, Brokers or individuals with the intent to resell.

· We will not sell a vehicle to any person appearing on the General Motors Suspected Export/Reseller List.

· We reserve the right to void the sale if any red flags arise regarding the intended ultimate end user of the vehicle.

· Corvette Sales Policy:

· Only one model Corvette can be sold per model year, per customer, and per household.

· Deposits are non-transferable.

· Refunds for canceled orders before allocation (status 2000) will be issued in the form of a check for the initial deposit, sent via USPS standard mail.

· Aftermarket Items and Accessories:

· If the vehicle is coming to our dealership, we do not install any aftermarket items.

· Only Chevrolet accessories purchased through MacMulkin Chevrolet Cadillac Parts Department will be accepted.

· Voiding of Sale:

· Failure to meet any of the above-mentioned terms gives MacMulkin Chevrolet Cadillac the right to void the sale at any point during the transaction.

· In case of a voided sale, your deposit will be returned, and neither party shall have further obligations

As someone has previously mentioned that was fast! MM contacted me in December for a 10k deposit for a ZR1. I was unprepared to be notified so quickly as I didn't get my 2023 Callaway Stingray until Feb. 2024 and I would still like to drive it for at least another year before I place a deposit down on a ZR1/ZR1X. If the waitlist is going to be very long I'll probably place a deposit down sooner rather than later, however since you ordered your car in November and will receive it just three months or so I feel that at least for the ZR1 in another year or so I can just call up MM and order one. Time will tell.

I received an email from MM asking for my info and my build info. They will then send deposit instructions.
