The one I could afford.
Which at the time was a Stingray. Completely satisfied with it. Way more car than I could ever use.

Best at what?
I think the SR is best at performance vs. cost. They are all best at what they are designed for.

I'll put it this way which is the best when you factor in all of the following:
-Fun
-Handing
-Sound
-Value
-Daily usability

Well... I would say for me it would be the SR. Lots of fun, handles well, sounds good, best value and more likely to daily drive it.

you think more than 1 more new model? I see rumors about potential Grandsport, would be interesting if a different new variant is released.

Just like every other automobile, every decision is a compromise, so there is no ONE BEST, only what's best for each person based on their particular wants/needs disposable income, situation.

The "best one" is the one YOU own.
A Stingray in your garage is better than wishing for a ZR1X.

My 2023 Stingray Z-51 coupe is all I could ever ask for, it checks all the boxes and has been awesome since day 1.

The base model of every Vette since the C5... it has the least crappola, even though still too much.

Agree and a C8 that has a fault free DCT.. but no way to predict that.
There is a fellow with a new ZR1 with 1100 miles with a problem DCT back at dealer needing new VB with a 3 month wait. He is going to LL the entire deal. Reassuring for sure.

Everyone needs a SR for practical purposes and a Z06 because life is more fun if you are not always being practical, but my budget says just the SR.

ZR1-X…no contest for me. The goat is the original C8 Stingray…what a bold move to go mid-engine, and still turns heads to this day.

Z06 right now but that could change if I get an opportunity to drive a ZR1.

Best to me means best Corvette, fastest, quickest, best handling. Secondary would be looks. Last would be anything money related best is never value to me, if so then a cheap, high mileage, 2020 1LT stripper would be best.

No doubt the clear winner is the Stingray, how can anyone go wrong with a base 1LT Stingray that can do 0 to 60 in under 3 seconds, do the 1/4 mile in the low 11's, mid engine design, drop dead looks etc. And all for under 70K! GM hit this one out of the ballpark.
