I have that exhaust on my car with the Speedway Tips and the Borla 60547 X Pipe.
The car sounds very good, deeper than stock with some nice crackle on downshift. Fit and finish is very good.
The overall sound is not overwhelmingly loud, if you are looking for loud, this is not the system for you.
Drone is minimal and easily controlled since my car is manual. I understand that sound is very subjective and what sounds good to me might be disappointing to others. For me this exhaust is perfect and the Speedway tips match the Exhaust opening very well.

Love those speedway tips and personally feel all C7’s should have come from the factory with that design. They just fit the overall C7 lines better than trumpets IMHO. My problem is I don’t have an extra $2500 to get them.
Honestly, I am digging those Speedway Tips. Don't get me wrong, I think the C7 NPP is a wonderful factory performance system, but I am always plotting something!

Same here, I had no issues with the stock exhaust but this one came up at a great price, one tip was damaged and scratched.
It needed to be welded and repainted both of which I could do at no additional cost, so at half the price it was a great deal for me.
I8URRICE: I too have a C7 Z06 manual (2019) with the coveted Borla 60547 X-pipe (removed secondary cats). I love the sound but have been looking for something a bit louder. I understand sound is subjective but seems like my (our) options are limited for an aftermarket exhaust on a C7 Z06 M7 if you want to keep the NPP and be able to dial down the sound when needed. I've heard a C8 with the Borla ATAK which keeps the NPP. Sounds great, but I'm thinking too loud for me at least. Borla "S" type does not maintain the NPP. AWE didn't have anything to offer that keeps the NPP. Not sure about Corsa Extreme/Sport? I wonder if a Billy Boat Fusion exhaust might be a good fit for me on sound (will be louder than "just" the X-pipe and I'm able to keep the NPP) and price is right if around $2500 plus delivery and install. And you are saying fit and finish are good. Do I have that right-- keeps NPP? Is that the Part number you have that Vader_C5 showing in link.... Part Number: FCOR-0665? Here's my beast.......
Right, I too have discounted AWE because of lack of NPP valve capability. But that's quite a difference in sound management isn't it-- between Borla ATAK and BB Fusion (particularly if you have an X-pipe too)?

That is correct, you maintain function of the NPP system and yes, fit, welds and finish is good.
I had the Borla X Pipe with the stock exhaust and it was very good. The BB Fusion just gave me that extra sound that I was looking for, deeper without being annoying. With rev match on, the sound is just awesome on downshifts.

One option my mechanic suggested I consider is going with a high flow catted connection downpipe from EOS #EXT-DP007-2 ($499). This would be instead of a Billy Boat Fusion or other after-market exhaust system. Did either of you consider this? Again, looking for louder than what I have which is the Borla 60547 x-pipe with secondary cats deleted. Don't care about any possible extra hp and am concerned cabin fumes and throwing a CEL with the EOS downpipe.

Cannot speak for EOS or high flow cats on the Vette, however on my ( Acura ) next to the Vette, I have high flow pre cats and X pipe with no cats and the exhaust tone is only slightly different than stock and not necessarily in a good way.
IMHO, it sounds slightly tinny / raspy with no depth and was not what I wanted for the Vette. Keep in mind the Vette is a different animal so results may be different.

Have you contemplated this muffler set up?
it keeps your NPP set up and will work with stock exhaust set ups.
i was contemplating giving it a go down the road.
MBRP added an interesting option as well. Dual mode, very loud on the loud side and quieter on the quiet side. I believe that setup is around $1600-1800. Very reasonable for a dual mode option. I need to add them to my website!

I have had the Fusions on my 2017 since new. I have the speedway tips and this is definitely the style tips they should have used from the factory. The sound is good, a nice deep V8 rumble. Cold start is loud and I run with the valves open. Inside the cabin is not overwhelming and there is no drone. Install was straight forward and I did it in my garage on jack stands. I would recommend using a 4 post or equivalent as removing the centre section of the exhaust and the rear bumper valence is a whole lot easier without having to lie on your back.
