Default ccb rotors and calipers

I have a set of red rear ccb calipers and rear ccb rotors
I dont have a gram scale so I weighed them in lbs and converted to grams

first rotor weighs 18 lbs converted to 8164.66 minimum weight is 8066 grams. thickness is 1.263" minimum thickness 1.24"

second rotor is 18.5 lbs converted to 8391.45 grams minimum weight is 8104 grams thickness is 1.274. minimum thickness is 1.24"

I was told when I bought them they had 20k miles on them.

new rear rotors are 3547.00$ each
asking 1500$ for each rotor plus insured shipping and signature required

calipers are red 4 piston ccb calipers
new calipers are 1649.00$ each . asking 750$ each plus shipping and signature required

Prices taken from Malouf parts express in New Jersey. most dealers are more expensive than them. actual shipping costs added

PAYPAL ONLY!! fees and shipping will be added and insurance as well. these are hard to find very easily damaged and risky to ship. if that doesnt work for you please look elsewhere

I'm not familiar with these but is $3500 per rotor correct? And $1600 per caliper? I'm not sure I've ever seen such extravagant brake parts for a car! What's so special about them?

yes thats correct. carbon ceramic rotors and pads are very expensive. for Ferrari they can run towards of 25k$ for a set. same for Porsche. rock auto has them (or they say they do you have to actually order and pay for them to find out if they really do) for 1800$ per rotor and 1675$ per caliper . if you dont road race the car they should last the life of the car.

a simple search of carbon ceramic rotors will give you a better understanding of why the cost is so high

How can you question the price if you you're not familiar with them?

I think you're inferring a meaning that was not intended. I'm simply asking about them and confirming the price was correct. In hindsight I could have just googled them, which I did and see they are in fact the most expensive rotors I've ever seen!
