The story - I have only had the car a short time I was going to do the suspension and turn it into an auto-crosser but the engine on my C6 blew up and that cost me $20K so this new toy has to go. I love this car, it is so clean and runs amazing, starts immediately every time, idles nice and its faaaasssst. She is a bit cold blooded and best to let her warm up a minute or two but after that runs perfect and easy to drive. Its tight like a car with 5K miles, the doors close perfect, the hood lines up, the panels all fit and this car is exceptionally clean and extremely well cared for over the years. The paint is actually flawless I think it may have been paint corrected / color sanded buffed becasue it looks wet, I used Groits ceramic on it and it now looks better than a brand new car. It feels like a brand new car everything is tight, no squeaks rattles or weirdness. I will guarantee this car is as specified and pictured when it arrives to you or come pick it up. There are yellow stripes under the black ones, the car comes with a wing that goes where the wing mounts are on the back. I absolutely hate to let this car go. Car is currently in San Diego County but registered in AZ. Title is clean, Carfax is clean. I am asking $19,999 OBO.

Looks like a fantastic car! VERY CLEAN INDEED! Looks like everything was done right to especially with the ignition upgrade. I'm considering a C4 again for my next Corvette as I sold my C6 Grand Sport. Can I trouble you for the cam specs? You should really post a video, at minimum of the car idling. Would really help.

Yes it has shorty headers, I am sure with some long tubes you could eek out a few more HP!

 

Why do you say 470HP when the dyno reads 395? Just extrapolating?

 

395WHP (wheel horsepower) is roughly 470 engine horse power. So yes just adding back the drivetrain losses or extrapolating. Note for anyone that cares this setup is limited in RPM and HP by the shorty headers. Long tubes will likely raise the hp about 15 to 30 and peak RPM by 200 or so. I was going to go long tubes, coil overs and sway bars and use it for autocross.

This is my first C4 in 30 years and my last one was an automatic. I was very surprised by the bottom end grunt and throttle response even compared to my racecar C6 Z06. Can anyone explain it? Is it gearing or are these stroker engines like that?

bat seems to be great for buyers, less so for sellers. Good luck man! A built lt4 has to be a blast, the lt1s are great match to these cars can’t imagine a hotted up lt4!
