After waiting for 8 months just to get an allocation, my car went to 3000 on Feb 12. Then all of a sudden, my car went from 3100 to 3300 in 5 hours last Thursday (April 9). So now I'm hoping the thing is built before the shutdown period coming up.
Just as a reference point, my ZR1 order was placed on 2/2, car was built on 4/8. It was built 1 week after it went to 3300 status. It's a museum order, picking up 4/28. It's an aero car but no ZTK.
WTH!!! I received my allocation in February and went to 3000 1st week in March and STILL at 3000. Jealous you guys moved through so quickly
I think what helped me was not ordering the big wing or ZTK or carbon fiber wheels. I wanted the J59 brakes but din't want to take a chance of not having a car to drive for the summer.
Damn...Just got updated from dealer. STILL at status 3000. 2 months at 3000...no idea what is holding thing up.. I can only assume it the Carbon Fiber. No ZTK, Arctic White Coupe, Red Dipped Interior, Carbon Wheels, Aero Package (big ****), Level 2 Carbon Interior
From April 27 to May 11. Not sure why the pause.......but my car did not get built before the shutdown. There is only a couple of weeks of production left for the MY26 year - just have to hope my car makes it under the wire.
After almost 11 months of waiting, the car that I ordered is built. Now the long wait for delivery. This odyssey started in early June 2025 after see some internet infomercials on the ZR1X. I started calling all the big Corvette dealers across country, and they all told me that since I had never done business with them before, they would not add me to the ZR1/ZR1X lists they maintained. On June 25, I walked into my local Chevy dealer and told them I wanted to order a ZR1X.....They said ok - I was the first one on the list. Well, the months rolled by and on December 8, 2025, I got an email from Chevrolet, telling me to design my dream ZR1X. More waiting....then on Feb 13, 2026, I got a call from my dealer asking if I was interested in a ZR1 allocation they just got. I had to make an instant decision ZR1 or hold out for a ZR1X................I decided to go for the ZR1, and I decided to go for the quick and fast model to avoid constraints. Went 3300 on April 9, 3400 on April 27 and 3800 today (May 19). My dealer never did get a ZR1X allocation (yet).
