Looking for Z06 battery hold down retainer rod (10344849)
I'm trying to find at least one of these, but a pair would be ideal. It's a discontinued part and I haven't been able to track one down anywhere. GM makes very similar looking ones for other models, but they're too long for the Corvette battery compartment.

Could you share the part number(s) for the version with longer length? Do you happen to know how much longer than the one intended for the Z06?
Sure, it's 42702669. Here's a picture of them side by side (Z06 rod is on the left):
The notch is larger on part 42702669 and it's longer. I took a chance ordering it, but it didn't work out.
Thank you. That might be the ticket to run a H5 battery which is physically taller and has more RC and CCA. Does the longer rod fit in the loop in the bottom of the compartment?

It does, but since the notch is a bit larger than the notch on the stock rod, it wasn't quite as snug. If you're running a larger battery it may not be an issue, but it was too tall for my battery so nothing stayed in place. It would probably be easier (and cheaper) to buy an aftermarket kit with rods that you can cut to fit.
I’m looking for the battery hold down rods for a C6 ZR1 in case anyone has a set for sale? The part number is 10344849 according to the dealer. When I searched for the dimensions I found 8 1/4” then searched for the dimensions for the C7 and it came up the same. I don’t know if that’s accurate.
