Hey there - I'm curious if anyone in the first 10 on the order wait list has heard from them yet? It seems like some dealers are taking orders, but it is unclear if those are allocated orders or just "pre-orders" in the system. Also, when is Chevy going to get the build & buy configurator live?! The visualizer is not cutting it.
Yeah, I mean its just a normal vette that’s gonna be made in decent numbers. It’s not a ZR1 or anything.
just go to your local dealer and ask what the discount will be on a 27 grand sport order. That’s what I did and most said $2-3k which is similar to what they do on normal stingray orders. From what I understand, most of my local dealers are on a cost plus basis, so you are basically getting invoice plus/minus whatever they want. Funny enough, none of these dealers really discount in stock inventory that much, like $3k on a SR or $5k on a Z06.
No offense but it doesn't sound like you’re a serious buyer and unlikely they are providing any discount. An actual deposit down for an allocation will get you MSRP at best on a high demand new model.
I sent my original email to them 11/19/2025 about being on the GS list.
I am in the low #30s with them, probably fell down the list as I sent a check vs wiring money. I bet they based it on money received, not initial contact.
I don't want GSX, and don't want any of the new colors, however I do want visible carbon fiber aero (if it is EVEN available without the Z52 track pack that requires Cup2Rs and CCBs). So who knows how constraints/allocations will fall.
I bought my 2011 GS through them new and had it courtesy delivered.
2027 Torch Red GS Coupe 2LT
Adrenline Red w/ Black Suede Inserts
Competition Bucket Seats
Black GS Rims
Z52 Sport
Carbon Visible Aero (if possible)
Carbon Visible Roof

Just as important as sales price (no ADM) is an allocation. Safe bet is an order from one of the top 5 dealers to get an allocation. I know MM, Les Stanford, and Criswell are all at MSRP for a GS order. I placed my deposit with Les Standford as they had the shortest list for GS at the time.

I actually think MSRP is high for a GS. I am on the list at a few local dealers at $2-3k off. Sure, might take longer for them to get an allocation, but I am in the top 5 at multiple and number 1 at my local dealer, so timing will likely be similar vs being in the 50s or 100s at some of these larger places. Every dealer was offering $2-3k off MSRP right off the bat on a GS order. Didn't even take any crazy negotiation.

All my local dealers told me it would be a $10k ADM they wouldn’t budge on. Including one I just bought a $60k truck from last year. Hopefully your dealer comes through.

Not asking you to "out" your local dealers necessarily, but what part of the country are you in?

I’m in the north east. Within 2-1/2 hours of macmulkin.
Not too concerned about my local dealer coming through. I went to 4, and 1 was at sticker and 3 were below. Worst case I wait a few months longer and pick one up at macmulkin at a larger discount in the winter or next year. I have plenty of other cars I can drive in the meantime.

You're claiming multiple dealers are selling the GS for $2-3k UNDER MSRP??
Checked the waiting list on the MM website this morning and no change so far, but also not sure how that usually works. I assume your number on the list drops as those higher on the list are processed, but curious when does that happen? i.e. when their order is placed, order accepted, status hits 2000, etc.

i have a $2k deposit and buyers order that says otherwise. 🤷 But who knows, maybe the dealer will do a bait and switch at some point.
I don’t know, maybe my local market just isn’t great for Corvette’s due to the high personal property tax and winters.
I’m looking forward to speccing one out though, I will likely do a 3LT HTC Admiral Blue over Santorini Blue is what I’m leaning towards. Luckily, Chevy prices are more reasonable than Porsche and Ferrari 😂
