Nice Grant!
These are hard to find and a good price.
Don’t want to derail your for sale ad but how do you know it’s a service replacement?
Hi Joe
i have seen other newer replacements like in the later 70’s other than the 482 and the AC logo has a a little circular raised ring around the AC logo but then they have the numbers stamped on the top of the flange
And or no AC logo
the 67 judging book calls for AC logo and part number stamped but does not say if stamped on the bottom of flange but correct ones are stamped at the bottom of the flange
g
to add to what Grant is saying, the originals had a date code part number stamped on the flange, and this one is hand stamped. Perhaps was run later on small run Saturday OT, no gang stamp AC Delco Flint, MI

I have seen some NOS in the box 482 and it is stamped perfectly straight across
but here is two pictures of 482 with no ring around the AC logo and numbers are off set and not straight
probably the stamper had a very bad day stamping them
Here is what an assembly line 40482 looks like. I had Fred Ballard clean it up and rebuild it. The square block on the bottom is correct for all 66 dated 40482 pumps. I have seen both bent tube and square block bottoms on pumps dated 67 and later. BTW, that is a great price for the unit that Grant is listing. I have seen NOS ones that were similar to his sell for over 1000. Good luck with the sale.
