It looks good! Nothing like giving the state more of your hard earned money for a special plate. I chose one of the veteran plates and then had it personalized as well, so I get two extra fees every time I renew my plates!

If it makes you feel any better most of my stuff isn't current registered haha. If you know the score you know the score and I'm sure you do.
The last time my C5 had a current registration was 2021.
I just got my renewal and went up 40 a year now at 220 for a crew cab pickup. Diesel in Pierce county is 7bucks a gallon so no they not going to get a renewal this year, just park it. I do notice now a lot of cars plates have expired, is something not being enforced and do I need to join that club.
Washington plates prior to 63 were green for the evergreen state than green was gone. By the time the "mountain" plate came out greed had totally taken over.
Old plates used to have the year tag made out of metal and the kids got the old ones to put in our bicycle spokes.
We have Road America plates in Wisconsin that are black. They are the only thing I will use. Look so much better than the regular white ones. I use black touch up paint and paint the screws and plate boarders. Looks dope.

Not my plate:
wow, very cool plate. No requirement for a month or year tag on the plate? Certainly looks better without it.
We don't have any black plates, BUT in Alabama we a Barber Motorsport tag. That is all black and white, I use for my cars / Vettes so no odd coloers, and we also have an antique tag thing where you can get a regular antique tag (Tan and ugle), OR if you can find a tag from the same year, and state (AL) as your antique. They will let you register the old plate AS your Antique tag to complete a vintage look. In 1966 in Alabama the plates was a Black tag with white letters.... The Antique Tags are one time registration only. so don't have to renew it every year. There was some effort to getting a antique tag to not be random letters ha. but its there now.
The tag on my C7Z here is now on my C8, and the Tag on the 66 can see too....
