Just got the 2026 owner's manual that I ordered from E Bay for $49.99. It's the real deal GM manual that should have been in the glove box on delivery.
I got mine free on the Chevrolet site. Its on my phone now. What is your owners manual made out of that costs money?
Can you do a document search on it for key words such as "glove box"?
It's in "book" form just like my 24 Vette had. And yes, it does show the glove box. I did contact GM and was told they will no longer give them out, however did say I could get it on a PDF.

Reason: more info
As in post #4, there's supposed to be one IN the glove box of every car sold new in the US. It's deemed a safety factor.
No, that recall notice was because the electronic version of the manual was not loaded on the Infotainment system. Having the manual available on the Infotainment satisfies the requirement.
When a customer takes delivery of a new vehicle, they expect to find the manual tucked away in the glovebox, [color=#e74c3c]or available electronically through the infotainment system. Without it, owners lack immediate access to critical information regarding safe operation, feature explanations, and maintenance schedules. “These vehicles may have been delivered without an owner’s manual,” the report states. “Owners may be unable to find information on the safe use and operation of the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.”
I just took delivery of a 2026 ERay today with no expectation for a physical owners manual. To my surprise, the salesman opened the glove box and presented me with one. That really made my day.
scrolling 3 lines at a time in type large enough to read doesn't work that well for many of us. I do like having the PDF on my desktop computer, but the paper version is easier to read in the car than PDF on the phone.

You can also get the manual on the Infotainment Screen. Not as big as you desktop monitor, but certainly bigger than a phone.

That's not what it says. It can be the electronic version too which you can read on the infotainment system. GM failed to even include the electronic version
I chatted with GM and asked for the printed version. At first she told me I had to order it online. After expressing my disappointment at not getting one with a $100K car, she relented and mailed me one at no charge.

Owner's have up to two years to request a printed manual. I requested mine at the end of March by calling the Concierge and asking for one. It was out of stock at the time, but finally shipped a few days ago.

I have a folding phone with a big screen. Why would you scroll three lines at a time on any phone? I do not get that one. Besides, the table of contents jumps right to the spot when you tap on it.

Not all of us spend big money on big screen phones. Mine is a normal phone and I usually don't take reading glasses with me everywhere I go. Scrowling 3 lines is so the type is large enough to read. Even getting to the spot, many of the sections of the OM are 1/2 to a full column long, thus the scrowling. If it was a 3 word answer, no problem. As mentioned earlier, maybe using the info screen would be more convenient than the small phone screen. My phone is a standard Samsung so not some old flip phone.
