Extended warranty
For the first time in all my years of car ownership I have opted for an extended warranty on my 23 Z06. I went with an 84/56 Platinum zero deductible. When I originally bought this car (pre-owned) my plan was to keep it until I got an allocation for a new ZR1. I fell for this car and decided to pass on my allocation and keep this one. Since my bumper to bumper warranty expires on 5 Jun I made the call to go for the extra coverage. I know my powertrain warranty has another two years left but this car is so different than my C6 and C7 both of which I bought new and still own that I felt out of my league on major repairs for the C8 thus the extended warranty. I've only had two major repairs on the C6 since I bought it in 2006. The harmonic balancer that I replaced myself and the A6 trans that I had the dealer take care of on my dime. The 2017 C7 Z06 has only had the A8 shudder and was early and covered under warranty. I figure one major repair on the C8 will cover what I paid for the warranty. Should I decide to sell it having the extra warranty will help in the sale as it's transferrable. If I keep it long term, I have 7 years of coverage. The car will never see 54K miles on my watch. I bought the warranty through Todd at MacMulkin.
I will be buying the extended warranty for my 25’ probably this time next year, From Todd at MM as well. that is where I bought my car!
Unless I do decide to go ZR1……From MM as well.

I recently bought a 23 Z06 70th HTC, and while I'm not normally an extended warranty person, I really feel on the C8 (especially the Z06), it's well worth it. Even though mine came with a 1 year B2B CPO warranty, I went ahead and bought the Platinum $0 deductible 84mo/56K-mile warranty when the dealer matched Todd's price.
If it helps, just got mine from Todd for my 2023 with 6059 miles on it. Got 60 months, 60K miles for $1563, $250 deductible.

I have a 2024 with 6500 mikes on it and Todd at MM suggested that I wait till December 2026 before I get the GM extended warranty for maximum long term coverage. I am buying the 84 month premium plan with zero deductible. I think the current cost is approximately around $2450. The price goes up as of May. If I wait till December and don’t exceed 12K miles that will be my best option. The new price increase in May will be minimal Todd said if like previous years so waiting to get it in my third year of the factory warranty gets me another 6+ years of coverage.
Email Todd at MM. he is very helpful and will not steer you wrong.
I bought a 100K/10 year Platinum on my 2023 70th Z06. 1K deductible. I am not interested in owning this car without full coverage. The policy is transferable.
I hear ya Tally Ho, I just bought the 84/70 extended warranty for my 23 Z07 from Todd at MM and it was less than $3k with the $100 deductible. I will never get the car close to that mileage but it will give the next buyer peace of mind when I sell her eventually.
