Default Removing corvette letters (debadge)

I'm thinking about removing the letters on the back of the my C8 to give it a more clean look. I would remove the stingray badge on the trunk as well. Your thoughts?

Thanks!

Removing the badges/letters does not give the Vette a cleaner look. It just looks like a vette missing the badges/letters.

That's a matter of preference. I personally like the stingray badge. It gives it a more balanced look. Do what you think is best for you!

First thing I did was remove the lettering from the back. I kept the stingray though.

I removed mine and it looks very clean--no residue or damage at all. I don't feel compelled to drive around with free advertising on my car after I've paid for it. Maybe if GM wanted to pay me a subscription fee...

Like others, I kept the fish.

I did mine too because I was more than likely going to rip them off with microfiber towels.

I have not removed the letters on my car. But, frankly, I think these cars look better with the letters removed.

I left the pollywog on.

My letters were taken off as part of PPF installation but when I went to put them back on I could not remember how it was spelled.

This is the biggest reason I am considering this....because IMO, it's not if but when.

I removed mostly due to they catch my California Duster all the time. That said, I prefer the debadged look as well. I left the Stingray badge, that catches the duster as well but not nearly like the individual CORVETTE badges.

After wanting a Corvette for so many years and then finally was able to buy one, I am proud to show everyone my special vehicle named Corvette. The name will remain on mine.

When I brought your post up, your de-badged mockup looked very nice.

Then I scrolled down to your badged car and got a warm feeling. 😂

Seriously, it's all about you. CORVETTE has always had positive implications for me. I love opening the garage and seeing that name. If it said CHEVROLET...I might be out there with a heat gun and dental floss...

Hey Mate,

2M exhaust on and debadge. Also swapped to carbon flash rear vents and some little taillight tint accents

We spend the money on these cars and you want to remove "Corvette"?
