Default PPF for my 17 Stingray...

Love my 17 Stingray, bought it a year ago when it had just 10,150 miles. I have since logged another 9,000 miles, definitely not a garage queen. I had it professionally detailed last summer and they used 3 coats of Adams Graphene Ceramic Polish, the results were amazing. Arizona, where I log most of my miles is a tough environment for tires and paint finishes, lots of sand, gravel and various other road debris. After a lot of research here and on other forums I dropped my initial plan to get a bra, just too many reasons not too. My search took me to Arizona Auto Aesthetics in Mesa. This shop has a great reputation for quality work specializing in high end cars {Porsche, BMW Vettes etc.}. Last January I contacted them and after several discussions I opted for the full forward PPF. unlike many other shops they utilize XPEL 10mm PPF and back the install with a 10 year warranty. At $1,900 their quote for a top quality job sounded pretty good but... they were backed up i 3 months so I scheduled an early May appointment.

Since I live in Payson, 85 miles north of Mesa and the install takes more than a day I needed a loaner which they were happy to provide for $75 and it would come with a full tank and no expectation for my topping it off before returning. Here is a pic of their "Loaner":

That's a 2025 Mercedes Benz AMG S45 that had 7,000 miles on it. Nice ride to say the least though i still prefer my C7. They "wrapped up" {pun intended} the application the next morning and my bride and i drove the Benz back down to their shop. They are always busy and had 6 cars getting wraps, tints, etc. all at the same time in their large shop. They advised driving home and letting it sit to "cure" for a couple of days in my garage before doing a lot off driving or doing a wash so this pic does not begin to do the completed PPF wrap justice but I will follow up in a few days with some better pics.. This is my first experience with PPF but I'm nothing but impressed with both the product and the install and the price was extremely competitive. They get $6,500 to do the entire car but the full frontal job met my needs and is described as:

"XPEL Ultimate Plus 10mm, self-healing film, with 10-year warranty, includes painted front surfaces, headlights, fog lights, full hood, full fenders, painted mirror caps and essential gloss-black or painted trim pieces {forward facing.}"

Bottom line, I highly recommend AZ Auto Aesthetics and if you are anywhere near Phoenix and want to make a serious improvement to your Vette I suggest you give them a call {480 241-9324}.

Sounds like you had a great experience and paid a decent price for what you had done.

Great-looking car! Good for you on your pre-detail shop research.

If I lived in a hot, sunny area, I'd want that white color, too!

Car looks great. They did a nice job. BTW, that's 10 Mil film, not 10 mm.

Noted, I copied the 10mm off of my receipt but their website does identify it as "10 mil" which is 25% thicker than the industry standard of 8 mil.

Good looking car and nice job doing your homework on the PPF installer. Sure looks like they did a great job for a great price.
