Default Anyone regret getting Red Dipped vs 2LZ, 2LT Red Napa?

I am just curious if anyone regrets getting Red Dipped vs 2LZ, 2LT Red Napa? It's about a $4k difference so it's not really the money but I just wonder if it would be too much red after a few months of ownership? Also, how much is actually leather on 3LZ vs 2LZ etc? I have heard about the peeling dash on the 3LZ in hot climates but how many new cars can you get with all red leather interior so that part is cool.

Everyone's opinion will be different on this I am sure, but I think the dipped is too much of any color. I do not think I have seen one that I liked.

I hear you, I love how it looks but I hate looking at if for too long, hurts my retina's haha! I did see a 2022 at the dealer with the burgundy which looked really good. I am starting to think red exterior and just black with red stitching I am not crazy how the 2LZ colored seats always look dirty I wish there was a remedy for that.

I also wish Manufacturers would offer all options separate, I would be happy with a 1LZ with camera and ventilated seats. I remember my dad ordering new cars, big engine, no radio or AC. I think Honda started the "packages" gig in the early 80's, take it or leave it was their attitude.

I think the dipped looks much better. The other version looks like they ran out of the right color seats so they just grabbed what was available.

Your photo examples are a little mixed up compared to your question.
First photo is a 1LT/LZ interior with red seats, not a 2LT/LZ, and the other photo is red dipped, but with GT3 comp seats and those always have some black trim.
But, yes, red dipped looks neat, for a while, but would be sort of extreme to live with.
Most agree that the 2LT/LZ trim level is the sweet spot, gets you all the electronic bits, but not overboard with fancy surfaces like the alcantara headliner and a-pillar covering.
I take it you are kind of stuck on the red, but in 3LT/LZ trim, you can get some alternatives that you won't see all the time, like the Very Dark Atmosphere, or the two tone grey with habanero, etc. Something else to think about.

The first pic is actually a 2LZ, 2LT with base seats.

I have thought about Sebring/Habanero since I am spending this much money might as well get something I can't get on many cars in this price segment. At least they break up the theme with a lot of black patches. It looks cool but not sure if I would get tired of it quick but it won't be a daily driver. Plus it would blend well with my KTM bikes and gear, a lot of orange and black but it pops!

2LT/LZ trim level red has red on the console and door panel, even with GT1 seats, just like your photo of the 2LZ Z06, so it has to be a photo of a 1LT/LZ.

But, yes, if you pony up to the 3LT/LZ you should go ahead and get some color combo you couldn't get on a 2LT/LZ car.

I keep going back to the basic Red Mist 2LT Grand Sport with red stitching and GT2 seats. My first Corvette was my Dark Red 86 with Graphite, 40 years later I still never get tired of that combo.

Just need one of every color combo, then you change cars with your mood.

I'm definitely "old school" and love the monotone look......I've always loved red interior so my '26 ERay has Adrenaline Red Dipped interior and I couldn't be any happier. The Stingray I traded had Natural Dipped interior....really loved it as well.

I am a fan of dipped interiors goes back to being a kid in the 60-70s and lots of vehicles had other then black interiors. I had natural dipped on my TR Stingray and now on my Hysteria ERay the Red Dipped Interior works for me. I know not for most and I am different then most.

I was never a fan of red anything. But I bought my corvette with Arctic white exterior and adrenaline red dipped interior. The combination is eye catching. More positives than negatives. My only complaint is the red glare up on the windshield at times and the PDR catches that to when videoing.

The dipped interiors are just too much for me. If they had thrown a little more black in, it might be ok, without going all the way to a standard interior. Interestingly, I think the standard interiors are a little too much black. Oh well, just my opinion.

My 79 with a totally red interior. The flash washed it out but it was RED. Not an issue...neither is my Natural dipped HTC...

It's always given me a little chuckle, the "dipped" interiors, like it is a new concept, never been done before and is something "premium"...
Used to be almost all GM interiors were all one color.
My folks had a 1973 Pontiac Grand Safari station wagon, pewter paint with a maroon interior, and every square inch of the interior of that 20 foot long land yacht was maroon!

That looks exactly like mine. I like the purple+all red interior and I'm not sick of it. It's not a lot of red while you are in the car because you can't easily see the seat you or your passenger is in. So you mostly see the dash. Heck even with dipped the car isn't entirely red.
I like the color, although I'm not a huge fan of fabric on the pillars or the visor. I worry it will too easily get matted down.

I loved red dipped. I have a Porsche in that color. Its called Can Can and its bright red. I just ordered a white GS with red dipped interior. I'm of the opinion a sports car needs to pop a bit. My daily drivers usually just have black interiors.

Subjective subject?
Adrenaline red interior / Torch red exterior / 2024 2LT SR Z51 HTC. KISS theory?
Just enough red inside a ragtop to keep us from burning our legs on black surfaces when top is down, while parked, on sunny days.
I have had other ragtops, with all black interior, and the mistake of getting in after it's sat in the sun for a while, top down, is one you usually only make once.
