Conti's latest YT vid has some info on the May order cycle, but mostly took a "wait until next week" tone for any hard info. Its an interesting watch on the dealer perspective of the world of constant constraints.
I was #1 on the list at a dealer in my area and received an email today that the dealership received one allocation for a c8 GS
No pricing yet or builder on the chevy web site .. will be building out the order this weekend
The issue for me is I want Admiral Blue and its on constraint but will order AB and roll the dice

How does allocation work now that they are in production? Working with a dealership who took my order and he said allocation come out ever other week. I'm first on their list but only if they get an allocation. Is that true?

yes that’s true. Some dealers get very few allocations some dealers get tons of it’s all based on past performance. It’s kind of messed up for the consumer but it is what it is. If you are actually number one then I expect you’ll get one soon. You can go see how many allocations they got last year at this site and judge for yourself. There won’t be gs but in general if they only got a few corvettes you might be waiting a while. https://www.c8tracker.com/dealers
Thanks. Link was much appreciated. Megal in Atlanta. They only got 27 last year. Ill have to be patient.
I think 27 is a pretty fair amount. I would think they would get an allocation and if your first on their list that's all they need is to get one, as far as you're concerned.
