Just bought my 1st C4
I’m not usually a C4 guy (owned an 82, 2000 vert, 2013 coupe & 2016 Z06 coupe, but this 88 caught my eye & I just had to have it, so I bought it.
Yeah, it’s dirty, pollen season, & has a couple of scuffs, but otherwise, I think not bad.
Also came 2 roofs.
1st step when I pick it up, paint correction & ceramic coating.
I’m on the fence if I want to toss on some bolt ons or leave it stock.
I need to do research on those since I’ve not owned a TPI car since the late 80’s.
Thoughts, opinions & of course what have people done far as what issue to look for, what should be changed & what to update like headlamps, matter of fact, all exterior lighting, ignition, plugs, best air filter, head unit, speakers, etc.
Thanks!
Mike

Id change all the fluids, even before cleaning it, including the brake fluid and power steering fluid.

It's raw. And you'll feel every bit of the road.
For me personally, that's what I like about the C4 generation, but you may or may not.
Good luck with it, though. It looks like it's been well kept. And I can't recall seeing too many in that color. Maybe once or twice at most.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I just picked it up tonight.
Natty C Yeah, I felt it all. It's been years since I had the 82 & almost forgot how as you put it, raw things felt!
Oil was changed, coolant was changed & trans fluid was changed, supposedly filter too
And thanks to 2011KLR for alerting me about the wheels, they swapped them over as well.
Now to tune it up, get rid of the old HEI whine in the radio, & look for a good 1.5 DIN deck.
What does everyone else use, or recommend?
