I just used a piece of double sided tape to keep my center piece in place and my cups no longer fly out.

I just found a coffee mug that fit the holder which held enough coffee for me.!

This one is awesome. Snaps into place way tighter than the stock one. It really holds the drinks snug. I put my phone in the center so it's also my phone holder.

What about for taller drinks? they don't flip out of it? thx

Not if the cup fills up the whole cup holder. If you have say a small/medium drink it flops around a little and can tip some; however, a large drink or my 20oz and 30 oz Yettis do not budge. I used the clear doublesided gorilla tape and cut it lengthwise to cover the whole bottom of that insert. The heat actually melted the the tape so it spread out on the cup holder so that may also help prevent them from moving.

Nope. The insulated cup I use is pretty tall and it survived a spirited drive all afternoon. Didn't budge. But that OEM one? Fagetaboutit.

I searched the forum, bought a few and didn't like them. This one works for me. 32oz Yeti, water bottles, cans. Until your post, I had forgotten about it. Set it and forget it.
