Default Bit the bullet and replaced my headlights

I said I was never going to replace the stock headlights as I liked the color matched lights and didn’t like anything aftermarket.

Well, some years later and the car went a direction I didn’t think it was gonna go and I swapped them out.
It is still on the lift to paint my calipers and lower it a little, but here are some preliminary shots.

i really didn’t want to go the bumblebee theme, but i think it came out great with the accents

Those headlights are the only ones I like on the C6. The other lights (C7 and C8 style), look good but they belong on C7's and C8's, not a C6. This light is the only one that isn't found on any other Vette and is unique in that it follows the sweeping body lines of the C6, not the angular body lines of the C7 and C8.

How was the install? Any fit/finish issues? How bright are the lights?

Which head lights are those?

If you like your headlights, then excellent.

Honestly, I don’t understand why headlight maker don’t make something that is similar to the OEM lights. Stay close to the design of the factory lights and I would consider a pair.

Every aftermarket headlight maker for the C6 (to me) seems to have some goofy eyebrows or accents or mimic other head lights. I think it changes the character of the car too much.

I upgraded my stock head lights and fog lights with LED’s from Vette Lights a couple of years ago. Been working great, way more light out put, and still the factory look which I think still looks best.

My sentiments exactly, stock or bust for me…however, of all the aftermarket offerings, OP’s look the best by far.

I also like the stock headlights the best, when the lenses get cloudy, I'm going to just replace the lenses

Thanks guys. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, nei was it mine to be honest. The car just changed looks and needed something more aggressive.

The fit is fine, but the loose fitting gaskets I am not fond of. I probably should have dabbed hot glue in a few spots before installing.
They seem bright as hell in my garage atleast, I don’t really drive my
csr at night much, but they are a dead on match to my Morimoto fogs with cutoff and color, so that is an added bonus

They are from TTABC

I'm in the camp of OEM headlights. Did you consider just getting OEM black headlights?

Lights look great!

Those who are adamant that they want nothing but OEM, check out Radio Flyer. I believe he has a light that gives the OEM look, but uses all new LED projector internals, so should be best of both worlds for you folks.

Now, what color are those calipers gonna be??????
