Default Front Wheel Hub Seals

Just finally assembling my big front drum conversion and wondering about front hub seals.
Has anyone replaced the stock felt type "seals" with anything better ?
I am NOT going with the roller bearing conversion although I did buy them but sounds like a bit of a crap shoot as far as possible installation problems.
Looks like I could use the seals that came with the roller brg conversion but they are exactly the same OVERSIZE OD as the felt seals that are a biach to get in and the felt seals are a lot more robust then the cheapo roller conversion 6064 seals
Thanks in advance for any tips on seals

I can’t help with the seal selection but changing from ball bearings to roller bearings is a 100% improvement in your front end. The bearings will last longer while offering better control while driving. That was a very popular conversion for years. I worked for Federal Mogul when they built BCA bearings for this swap. The only reason they quit building those was a huge drop off in sales as those cars all aged out. It was always a vast improvement not just for the Corvette owners but for all old Chevy owners. This is one upgrade with no adverse issues. I think production quit in the early 1990’s but demand for those is still there today for the few cars remaining on the road.

My car drives like a dream with the ball bearing front end.
My big brake conversion has been in the works for almost 40 years and is my #1 priority.
I don't need to muddy the waters trying to improve something I am very happy with the way it is - but thank you for the suggestion !
After the big brakes it's 3.08s and Ford gears for my T10 - custom ratio tranny

Depending on who made your tapered bearings they may be worth up to $500 to a buyer. No reason to let them sit un wanted. Enjoy the bonus!
