I just wanted to share a positive note about @ApexWheels .
I bought a set of SM10 wheels sometime last year in preparation for the 2026 autocross season in anthracite color. I admittedly/blindly (I had no reason to question the quality of these wheels since I also had a set of brushed clear VS-5RS wheels on a C5Z) had tires mounted on them and even raced on them for 2 events. At the end of the second event I went to re-inflate my tires and noticed one of the front wheels has what appeared to be some paint chip/delamination since it was a little white spec.
Hesitant they would warranty the wheel since it was "used" I called in and they immediately said "Yep that sounds like a warranty claim for paint defect. Send an email with photos and we will get on it." So I did and have been corresponding with AJ in customer service who has been great to deal with. Unfortunately they were out of stock at the time and I had to wait until a new wheel came in for them to ship.
AJ even pointed out that they will cover up to $50 in remount/balance fees to have this done. Something I wasn't even thinking about! I had the return shipping label in hand before the wheel even showed up.
So, thank you AJ and APEX Wheels! Always great dealing with a stand up company!
