The 63 rocker cover replacements that are not available—any more info? Inside scoop on the maker? I’m switching my 63 back to stock undercar exhaust and am looking for a set.

Your best bet would be to hunt for an NOS set that someone has for sale (or will) and/or buy a used set in good condition and spend a few hours getting them back in shape.
Corvettes at Carlisle is coming up in August and you may be able to find either an NOS pair ($$$$) or a good used pair ($$$) up there for sale and go that route. Another option would be to instead put a pair of 1966 rocker covers on your 63.
1966 rocker molding covers are similar to 63's and still available. I think I have three used sets myself and I don't even own a 66. Good Luck with it. C.J.
The 63 rocker panels were being reproduced by Top Flight (aka Corvette America), but haven't been available for a while. They weren't perfect but CA has updated them a couple times over the years so they were better than the first repro's they did 20 years ago. I have no idea if they have any plans to reproduce them ever again, and my wholesale rep I'd dealt with for 30 years retired and I no longer have an assigned rep or anyone there now who will give me updates on things like this.
There are plenty of used covers floating around, and NOS ones do turn up from time to time, but NOS ones are getting very expensive (think $1000 up). Andy Canniso here in NJ can restore original ones, but it's not cheap. They have to have the plating striped off, then sanded and straightened, re-anodized and finally repainted.
