Hi - I walked outside after my workout to find an evil person did a hit and run job on the rear quarter panel of my C6Z06. I am distraught and need help with how to proceed. I assume GM no longer provides rear panels on such an old car. Is this woven material even repairable? Are there aftermarket companies that make reader quarters for my Z06? Does anyone have a rear passenger side quarter that they are willing to sell? I wish a terrible cancer on the person that did this and ran away.
I would take it to a custom body shop, not a typical collision place that just puts new parts on, and see if they can repair it. I once cracked a quarter panel right above the wheel on my old 2006 Z06 and a shop was able to do fiberglass work to fix it. I have also had a cracked rocker repaired on my GS.
A good shop that has experience with Corvettes can fix that. I had a crack in my rear C7 bumper fixed and painted for $1000 cash. I took the bumper off my self and took it to him.
Help!! C6Z06 quarter panel nightmare.
