What is the correct term for the front amber lights? I had one go out and I want to replace it with another amber. Call me old school but I always liked the orange running lights. If anyone has a link of a replacement that would be greatly appreciated.
I'm pretty sure this is just a standard orange bulb that you can get at any auto parts store unless you modified your lights from OEM.
Replacing the amber Daytime Running Light (DRL) / turn signal bulbs on a C6 Corvette (2005–2013) uses a 3157NA (Natural Amber) or 4157NA bulb, accessed through the front wheel wells. It involves removing push-pins on the fender liner, twisting the socket counter-clockwise, and swapping the bulb and should not require the wheels to be removed.
5702ak is standard bulb. 4157na is listed as long life. Either will be available at any auto parts store. Very common bulb. Some manufacturers make a frosted amber, others make a clear amber. Be sure to get the same type so it matches the other side in color.
