I don't think you will see that sort of resource until close to production, or until Chevy publishes the build and price for 2027.
Seems strange though that Chevy would pull that feature.

Thanks. I don't even know if that is true. I was just wondering if anything official has been published.
I believe that HUD will still be standard on the base Grand Sport-X just as it was on the base E-Ray.
But the base Grand Sport (non-X) 1LT might not have HUD standard?
And I believe that it will be called 1LT (and 2LT, 3LT) on the Grand Sport and Grand Sport-X, not 1LZ like on the E-Ray.

So GM can reduce costs and deal with part constraints, enabling the team to produce more cars efficiently. By tackling these two areas simultaneously, they will see significant improvements in their output and overall operational flexibility.
It’s probably done to stay consistent with the (Stingray based) regular Grand Sport. Can’t have the Grand Sport using 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, yet have the Grand Sport-X using 1LZ, 2LZ, 3LZ.

Good point! Maybe 1LT does not have HUD but 1LZ does. That would explain it. I will be interested to see.

Well yes, sort of….the 1LZ (E-Ray) does have HUD as standard. But I also believe that the 1LT (Grand Sport-X, the E-Ray’s replacement) ALSO comes standard with HUD. It might only be the base ‘non-X’ Grand Sport (also called 1LT) that does not come standard with HUD.

I never use the HUD on my 1LZ E Ray and don't care about it, however I constantly use my PDR and any Corvette (1LT /LZ) without the PDR is a deal breaker.
Can't find it now but I could've SWORN that I saw HUD would still be standad on the GS-X? I can't find it now. Maybe it was a mistake or I imagined it?
Then again, HUD has only been standard on anything designated "1LZ" or "1ZR"
So Chevy squeezing people into a 2LT for even the basic stuff does not surprise me.
I love the HUD and it was partially the reason I had no issues going to a "1LZ" in this car. Weird Chevy makes that standard on 1LZ but no homelink, power folding mirrors or blind spot monitoring. Heck even lumbar adjustment. Think about a 1ZR and the base msrp of that to not include this stuff makes me not angry about my 107k msrp 1LZ with only a wheel option
I kept my Stingray almost 4 yrs and plan on keeping my ERay for at least that long, I like the 3 packages as my last Stingray with Natural Dipped interior only way and same for my ERay with the red dipped, I like interiors that go back to the many vehicles from my teenage years 60-70s vehicles with solid interiors other then black.
