Default Wire under the dash

I am in the process of installing my instrument cluster. I have a couple of questions.

1. where does the green wire coming out of the steering column for the connect. I can’t remember

2. I have a white wire by itself with a female spade connector , not sure where it goes.

3. There is also a brown wire with a female spade lug.

I have attached three images.

thank you in advance

The wire that clips to the vent cable goes to the horn button wire, if you ground it the horn relay will make and the horn will blow. The other wire I will need to look in my AIM or someone else will comment.

Can't tell anything from your pictures, but usually a green wire would go to the turn signal switch on the column. White wire would go to the brake stoplight switch and that brown one probably goes to a capacitor under the dash. Tan normally goes to park brake need better pictures.

Ok...

I uploaded a 1963 Wiring Diagram, see attached.

Your 1st photo... You're saying that's a White wire? That may be the Tach Buzzer wire, if equipped. 1963 only(that's why I asked the year). There would be a male terminal on back of the tach. That was deleted at some point in production but I recall the wire was still in the harness throughout the year. Not tach wire. That was Red.

Your 2nd photo... Heavy gauge Brown. Is the ACC wire which goes to a Radio Capacitor mounted behind the Ignition Switch. This wire will have 12v in RUN or ACC. If cap is missing, just tape off the connector.
Mating connector on Cap is missing on mine.

Your 3rd photo... Looks like Tan, with the clip on the vent cable. That is the Horn wire going to the bulkhead connector, then out to the horn relay. The Green can be checked to see if it's from the Horn button by using your ohmmeter, one lead to gnd, other lead to green. Push the horn button and meter should show continuity to gnd. If so, connect those 2 together. FYI, The horn button wire color can be green or black in 1963 based on build date iirc. My Feb '63 coupe was black.

If your green isn't the horn button it may be for the Park Brake Alarm switch.

1963 w/green wire

1963 left w/ black wire, 56-62 right
