My 2025 Eray was purchased with the Michelin summer tires... I am just shy of 4,000 miles and I'm thinking the 275's on the front are getting sort of close to the tread ware indicators. I will make a measurement tomorrow to get a better number but I'm thinking these tires might not make much past maybe 5,000 miles... Rears are somewhat better... Anyone have experience with how long the original tires lasted on their Erays??? thanks...
Summer tires wear lots faster than the all season tires.
But, you should get considerably more than 5000 miles to the tread wear indicators.
Might want to get the alignmant checked.

I had the steering gear replaced under warranty (caused a noise that replacing it did fix) and I know they realigned the front end then. But yes, I will check and I will ask them to be sure they've set the alignment for street and not some track setup... Do you have the all seasons and if so, do you like them???

I have put 9 k on my 25 e ,wear looks great [A/S] I think 15 k + is possible . No track but it does not get babied though mostly straight line playing . If you are really pushing it through your favorite turns I would expect faster wear than mine if not pushing it I would pay to have at least the toe-in checked again .
So maybe not as bad as I thought... I went to TireRack and looked up specs on these summer Michelins... Says new tire specs for tread are 7/32 (5.55 mm) for the fronts and 7.5/32 (5.95 mm) for rears... Measured my wear at about 4,000 miles and got 4.5 mm for fronts and about 5.5 mm for rears... So I've only worn off about 1 mm on the fronts and only about 0.5 mm on the rears... The fronts just look so close to the tread wear indicators but I guess that's because there is less than a 1/4 of tread to begin with... So not great but not as bad, perhaps, as I was thinking...
Be sure you check the inner most edges for wear on those front tires. GM spec's some neg. camber on the Corvette. This really eats the inside edges.
Good point and yes, I have been turning the tires to look at the entire tread... My previous Corvette, a 2012 Grand Sport, did exactly what you said, ate the inside edges of those front tires... Afterward I had my Chevy dealer change the setting to what they called the "street setting" and I never had that issue again. On my Eray, the tread wear looks even across the front tires... thanks...
