Put my MSD Airforce on today, and when I went to bolt up the Katech 103mm, I couldnt get a second bolt in- the TB seems to be hitting a standoff on top of the water pump, circled below. Nobody's ever mentioned having to trim the water pump, so what am I doing wrong? Help!
I can't help with the TB install but your flex fuel sensor bracket/setup intrigued me...
Willing to share details/photos on it? I have a similar Amazon sensor "saddle" bracket then I see you bent some aluminum to mount somewhere? Also what PN is that secondary braided flex line?

I have the Lethal Garage kit and I'm not happy how it fits and rests in the engine bay.
I have the Lethal Garage kit as well (and that's the line they gave me), and I objected to having a piece of the fuel system free floating. It's literally just a couple aluminum Z I bent as a temporary solution- but as we all know there's no fix more permanent than a temporary one.

Heres my lazy bracket. Held together with the countersink screws it came with, held to the motor with M6x1.0 bolts.
Perfect thank you!!! I'm trying to get mine better looking while still having the coil covers on. Right now mine is zip tied to that black plastic vacuum line
You already ground down the WP....I guess another option was to notch the TB? Does it have enough meat to notch it around the WP?

Maybe? But I'd rather notch a 150 or so dollar water pump housing that I can replace on eBay than a 700 dollar throttle body that I can't.
As for the coil cover, why not insert two rivnuts in the plastic and bolt that bracket thru them? Again, cheap parts, replaceable easy if you revert later.

It’s wild that I never saw mention of it, and only one person in a random FB thread that brought it up once when I made the robots search deeper for me. Easy enough fix, just always nerve wracking to pitch aluminum bits everywhere around an open motor.

Good suggestion. I'll see what I can come up with for that.
I have one of these from some completely different alphabet brand. For ~30 bucks, I've used it a surprising amount of times. The last time was to build a catch-can mount in my daily. I use it on motorcycle stuff... no affiliation with seller, but yeah. simple cheap tool.

I'll get you some closer pics in a bit!
Haha! So True! That phrase is Benjamin Franklin- or Mark Twain-level wisdom!
