Pricing check before I pull the trigger: 2025 Stingray 2LT Z51, under 2K miles
2025 Stingray 2LT Z51 in Riptide Blue with Jet Black interior. Under 2,000 miles. Clean Carfax. Body-color removable roof panel. Mint condition.
Build sheet from the original window sticker:
Magnetic Selective Ride Control
Front Lift Adjustable Height with Memory
GT2 Bucket Seats
Engine Lighting
Battery Protection Package
Standard 2LT content otherwise. No carbon roof, no two-tone interior, no premium paint upcharge.
Original MSRP delivered out at $89,825.
Dealer was @ 76K i have it down to $73,500 out the door before tax. That includes doc, title, and the rest of their fees.
One important note. This is not being sold by a Chevy dealership. It's a non-Chevy franchise dealer who took it in on trade. So no factory CPO option, no in-house Corvette tech, no first-maintenance benefits tied to a brand store. Anything specific I should watch out for buying a C8 from a non-Chevy dealer? Inspection items, paperwork red flags, anything that's bitten you?
Where does this land for you? Fair, strong, or am I leaving money on the table?
Appreciate any honest takes.

I'd say "out the door before tax" is a bit of an oxymoron.

This is basically a brand-new used car. I think it's a good deal - but does anyone know whether that first free service is transferable? Curious... Either way, probably a decent deal especially considering this has Z51 and magnetic ride AND GT2 seats, all very desirable.

Great point on the first, free service. Based on what I've read, the free service goes with the vehicle. Doesn’t matter how many owners the vehicle has had.

See how long they have been sitting on it.
Ask them "How bad do you want to sell this car?"
The free first oil change and the free first trans filter change are part of the new car warranty, and should transfer to the new owner.
Anyway, were it me, I would be trying for a better deal on it, it does sound like a very nicely spec'd car though.

And it's a HTC as well, the best version

So, $94,830 - $73,500 = $21,330 off of original MSRP.
That's 22.5% off the original MSRP. This is about right for low mileage used candidates.
If you've driven it, and all seems well ... I'd take it if I were you. That car is listed at the Audi dealership, right? That chain also has a local Chevy dealer though. Maybe you can get them to certify pre-own it through their Chevy dealer? They do cross list the vehicles, so you could buy it direct from the Chevrolet dealer if you wanted to.
Check out https://caredge.com/ website, and plug the VIN in to find where I'm getting this info.
Hmm, so maybe the one I found is a different one? Would be really strange to have another 2025, rip tide blue, with under 2k miles, listed for $75,999 though ... but the one I found doesn't have the GT2 seats nor the engine lighting package. I did a nation wide search and only found the one.

OTD means exactly that, out-the-door. Everything included. Everything!
$73,5K MIGHT BE OK.

I purchased a 2023 LT2 Z51 in 2025 with 1,900 miles on it as well. I was the third owner! GM did honor the 7,500 transmission filter change at no cost. This service is provided at 7,500 miles, regardless of owner, and if the service is done within 3 years of the date the vehicle was first put into service. I have had the car 16 months now and have just over 24,000 miles on it. I have done all the oil changes as well as the transmission fluid & filter change at 22,500 miles as per maintenance schedule. Car has now been at the dealership for over a week due to an issue with the transmission. Make a high-pitched whining sound. Tech says there are some gears getting stuck together and possibly due to a snap ring issue. May need a new transmission already. Thankfully, this is covered under warranty. Just a bummer though. I have really enjoyed driving this car. It is my daily ride. Living in east Tennessee gives me lots and lots of curvy roads to choose from. Despite the transmission issue, as of today, I still have no regrets in buying this car.
