FS: 77k Mile 2001 C5
Exterior- The body and paint are in great shape. No paint defects, rubs, or scrape marks. I can’t even find any noticeable rock chips. There is a small scratch on the driver side quarter (see photo)
Interior- Good shape for its age. No rips on the seats. The driver side lower bolster does have some wear, my uncle was a big boy. A/C blows ice cold, but the HVAC screen is very dim. Passenger side vanity mirror glass is dislodged (see video). Has a aftermarket arm rest from the early 2000s
Mechanical- Had it up on my lift and did not see any leaks. No leaks in the engine bay either. No ticks or taps from the motor. No codes. No clunks or anything weird over bumps. Trans shifts well, will chirp the tires into 2nd. Brakes and tires have plenty of life.
Specs:
100% stock
2001
Auto
77k miles
HUD
Bose
Glass top
Garage kept entire life
Inspected until 6/27
Comes with binder of recipts since 2005
Right now the car is at my house in Emmaus PA. If it doesn’t sell in 2 weeks, it will be driven back to my Aunt’s in Broadheadsville PA.
Asking $16,500
The title of the car is in my uncle’s name. I will be showing the car, doing all negotiations, and handling any post-purchase questions. My Aunt is not familiar with the car like I am, and feels more comfortable having me handle the sale. She would then sign the title over to the new owner at the time of purchase, as she has authority over all his property.
PM me with any questions
walk around video below
Thank you

We tried a revision to the rules to allow those listings to take place without the need to get prior approval from an administrator so long as the threads disclosed the circumstances of the nominee sale and stated the role they would play in resolving any post-sale disputes.
It hasn’t worked as it has created a proliferation of people offering Corvettes for sale for a friend or relative who declare they will take no responsibility in resolving post-sale disputes. That’s potentially harmful to site users, so we are reverting to some of the previous language.
Going forward, those listing cars or parts they do not personally own must make this clear in their sales thread, posting:
- The circumstances regarding why the owner is not listing the car or parts
- The role the thread starter will play in the sale
- And agreeing to participate in trying to resolve any post-sale issues.
Potential buyers should be aware of who the actual owner of the car or parts is and who would be responsible for potential disputes before proceeding with a purchase.
