Default 77k Mile 2001 C5

Looking to sell my late Uncle’s C5. He had owned it since 2005. 77k miles but has only driven 1k or so in the past 3 or 4 years. As the family car guy, I was tasked with shaking it down, representing it honestly, and getting it sold. I’ve put 200 miles on it so far and have had no issues besides a coolant temp sensor code. I replaced it with a factory GM CTS and the code has not came back.

Exterior- The body and paint are in great shape. No paint defects, rubs, or scrape marks. I can’t even find any noticeable rock chips. There is a small scratch on the driver side quarter (see photo)

Interior- Good shape for its age. No rips on the seats. The driver side lower bolster does have some wear, my uncle was a big boy. A/C blows ice cold, but the HVAC screen is very dim. Passenger side vanity mirror glass is dislodged (see video). Has a aftermarket arm rest from the early 2000s

Mechanical- Had it up on my lift and did not see any leaks. No leaks in the engine bay either. No ticks or taps from the motor. No codes. No clunks or anything weird over bumps. Trans shifts well, will chirp the tires into 2nd. Brakes and tires have plenty of life.

Specs:
100% stock
2001
Auto
77k miles
HUD
Bose
Glass top
Garage kept entire life
Inspected until 6/27

Comes with binder of recipts since 2005

Right now the car is at my house in Emmaus PA. If it doesn’t sell in 2 weeks, it will be driven back to my Aunt’s in Broadheadsville PA.

Asking $16,500
The title of the car is in my uncle’s name. I will be showing the car, doing all negotiations, and handling any post-purchase questions. My Aunt is not familiar with the car like I am, and feels more comfortable having me handle the sale. She would then sign the title over to the new owner at the time of purchase, as she has authority over all his property.

PM me with any questions

walk around video below

Thank you

From your post I cannot tell whether the car is titled in your name or your late uncle's name. So, if it is not titled in your name, the following information is needed in your thread:
Since you are listing a car that you do not own, there is additional information that is required by the rules to be included in your listing. Here is the rule and an excerpt on just what is required.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...eir-parts.html

Site users sometimes list Corvettes or parts for a friend or relative who is unable to market and sell the car or parts for themselves for some legitimate reason.

We tried a revision to the rules to allow those listings to take place without the need to get prior approval from an administrator so long as the threads disclosed the circumstances of the nominee sale and stated the role they would play in resolving any post-sale disputes.

It hasn’t worked as it has created a proliferation of people offering Corvettes for sale for a friend or relative who declare they will take no responsibility in resolving post-sale disputes. That’s potentially harmful to site users, so we are reverting to some of the previous language.

Going forward, those listing cars or parts they do not personally own must make this clear in their sales thread, posting:
  • The circumstances regarding why the owner is not listing the car or parts
  • The role the thread starter will play in the sale
  • And agreeing to participate in trying to resolve any post-sale issues.
Threads failing to address those points will be removed by moderators.

Potential buyers should be aware of who the actual owner of the car or parts is and who would be responsible for potential disputes before proceeding with a purchase.
In order to keep your listing active, please address the bolded bullet points above in your original posting or right below this post. Please add the info by 11:30 pm on 5/19/26. Thanks for your cooperation.

Nice car man. Were here today and gone tomorrow. I hope your uncle accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior durring his time here so he can be in Heaven right now and not hell. Jesus is our one and only hope. God bless you man. I pray you sell the car quickly in Jesus name.
