Went to Corvette Thunder in the Glen last weekend. 250 Corvettes from C1-C8.
Friday an amazing evening with Ron Fellows, with amazing pictures and stories from his awesome career.
Saturday they shut down Main Street for a show from 11-4 and then we had paced laps around the original track and then the current track.

That looks like fun. We (20) got on the track last fall for a lead follow. It was the first time I'd ever been there. We only did 4 or 5 laps as I remember, so not much time to try to learn the track, but we got to write our names at the start/finish line and get some pictures.. It was a good time.
Our leader (track employee) was going fast enough to where we were hitting 110+ on the straights. It was fast enough on a track we'd never seen before. We also needed fully functioning cars to get back to Texas.
Thanks for sharing. Looks like a great event. How many Vettes were there?
we had planned to go this year, but had to reschedule for 2027. It sounded well planned & busy.
On our vacation drive home from picking up our "new" C7 in late April my wife and I spend a few days in Watkins. At my wife's insistence we did a 3-lap lead follow for a whopping $40. While cold and damp it was a blast. Seriously thinking of going to the Thunder nest year.
