Another C7 Clay Day
The fellers showed up again to play, coffee & the obligatory donuts, then attacked a Z, turned out nice.

Look into these:

I just got one and LOVE it. Where I park at work there is a lot of crap in the air and the paint quickly gets contaminated. I used to clay bar a decent amount just to get the paint smooth every 3rd wash or so. This clay towel cuts time down in half and is reusable.
GREAT for "maintenance clay" process.

Thanks for the info.
From my personal standpoint, don't care for them that much. Have tried the clay infused towel, the clay infused glove, etc. for a couple of reasons. One, if dropped and lands on the clay side, it's a little tough to clean that off and guarantee you get every bit of grained dirt out, which can scratch the heck out of a finish if used, same with any infused glove. Been using the clay bar for a couple decades now, I like kneading it to create a fairly new start. Can't do that with the infused clay items.
Also two, being old and known to drop things, it's much cheaper to throw the clay bar away vs. the more expensive infused product. Most clay bar kits comes with 2 or 3 bars, so there's plenty to drop.
If that works better for you, that's great, thanks again for the insight.

You guys practice enough that it would probably be a good idea if you guys could do a primer video to show the rest of us the best way to do it.
I have always been a little leary of attempting a Clay Bar Session. I know how to do the donuts.

Pretty easy, start out with a freshly washed surface, use plenty of detail spray for lubricant, stay above the bottom areas.

You better believe it, I would find reason to go TDY to Dover if I was still in the Air Force.
