Default Chevrolet email - 2027 Order Confirmed

Got the email below from Chevrolet today. Not really new "news" as I have been at status 3000 since 4/21, but nice to get a formal email from Chevrolet. Included my basic order specs. Interesting thing was the email listed my courtesy delivery dealer as my "dealer" rather than where I actually ordered from - MacMulkin.

Order Confirmed

Good news—your personalized 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe order has been placed by your chosen dealer and received for production. You’re officially one step closer to driving performance royalty. Keep an eye on your email for status updates so you can watch your legendary vehicle come to life. .

Well, that is where it is going to ship to. Any LPO (dealer installed) options/accessories will also ship there.

Does Chevrolet only do this for American orders or does it apply to Canadian orders too?

Received same email, nice to have email confirmation directly from GM. I don't know when Chevy started sending these for custom orders, or if they are only sent for Corvette orders. To compare, my wife special ordered two Ford Broncos (both stick shift) and the 2024 took one year to receive, with zero communication from Ford or the dealer. The 2025 they apparently changed their policy, we received regular updates from Ford so we knew about when we'd take delivery. All vehicle manufacturers should adopt this practice for custom orders, as we're spending a lot of money to get what we want and it doesn't cost them anything to send emails out.

I never received any email updates during the wait for my special order-placed early February, delivered May 8. The dealer did keep me updated however. But it would have made the wait process more personal….

I haven't rec'd any emails from GM but MM just posted on their tracker that my 2027 SR moved to 3300 as of 5/21. Looks like things are about to get moving.

3300 - Order scheduled for production. I'm sitting at 3k. I love the updates. Can't wait to see the one that say's going into production. Do you have a date in your head that you would love to see happen? Like optimistically thinking your car could be completed by July 1rst? Or July 15th? If I see my car by July 15th I'd be over the moon. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
