Default Lossing fuel pressure

need some HELP, my 99 is losing fuel pressure hard start after sitting. checked with gauge 60# with prime and about 58# running. Shut it off and slowly drops pressure. This is after I checked injector, no leaks, replaced filter/regulator, I also replaced check valve since that seemed to be a problem with an aftermarket and some new hoses. After all that still have leak down , so now my question is is there a back flow valve in fuel pump ,some say yes and some say no, any input would be greatly appreciated.. THANKS

Not clearly stated... what happens with key to ON. The pump runs for 2 seconds, you get 60 psi, then the pressure drops immediately?

No, there is not a check valve in the fuel pump from 1997-2003.5. Late 2003 - 2004 have the check valve in the pump.

THANKS, When I turn key on pump primes to 60 when it stops priming it goes to 55 then I I turn key off then it starts to drop slowly not fast a slow creep. I replaced the original fuel line with check valve and replaced that line with aftermarket valve and high pressure hose along with new filter/reg. Its a mystery to me were its going. THANKS for quick reply

Unfortunately, you have added variables in the mix by just replacing parts without a diagnosis first. You have to isolate the system in sections to see where the loss is. There are QD plugs, shut off adapters, etc. I post the ones I use. Think I bought them 20 years ago.

I was always told to do thing right and I didn't MY BAD. THANKS for ur HELP
