I did mine at 1,200 miles since that was the 1 year mark when the oil age expired. I wouldnt go past 1,500 miles for the first oil change given the wear particles.
I did mine at 500 miles, with the transmission filter, again at 1,500 miles for both (plus top off trans fluid), and now simply monitor the oil life monitor. I typically change the oil about 3x per year, as I run a lot of autocross and track days in it. I also replaced the trans filter at 7,500 miles, AND replaced the fluid. I'm very OCD making sure I protect both the engine and trans as much as I can.
I changed my oil around 500 miles and I’m glad I did. There were metal fragments in the oil that I’m glad were removed early. I’d of never known about them had I had the dealer change the oil. I did the next oil change around 1600 miles and it didn’t see anything in the drain pan.
I”ll use the OLM for future changes and will let it run down to about 30% before changing the oil.
1st oil change at 750mi (3 months since new). Just did the annual oil change (from purchase date) at 3300mi and did the DCT filter. I used the free oil/DCT service this time.
First oil change on my 2023 at 550 miles. 13.5K miles now with 9 total engine oil changes. Trans filter changed every engine oil change. Trans oil changed changed 3 times. Hydraulic system flush run on 3 separate occasions. Oil analysis run on every oil change including particle test on the trans oil.
Did mine 1st oil change at around 700 miles. DCT filter at 1500. Going to do my 2nd oc soon at around 3000 and DCT oil and filter soon after. Going to do my oc once in between each oem recommend interval there after or even 2 oc in between.
